I absolutely love these little bowls. There is not much to say about them - they are adorable, well made, cheerful, dish washer safe, and of seemingly high quality for what they are. From the side view they almost look like mini pie plates because of the crimped edges (though definitely higher than a pie plate for their size in comparison to what a pie plate would be, if that makes sense). Also great for spices or small amounts of ingredients for mies en plas! Definitely recommended!:) ... show more

These bowls, Chinese soup spoons, vinegar, and xiaolongbaos. Give me a more perfect combination. The previous dipping bowls we had a much shallower shape. It meant that you could put a xiaolongbao into it but you couldn't have too much vinegar. It also didn't have space for you to scoop up some of the vinegar onto to drizzle over the xiaolongbao. While the taste was still good(I mean, you could never go wrong with xiaolongbao), there was something missing. Regular rice bowls were too deep and you couldn't rest a soup spoon inside of it well. Somehow, I saw this and it was like the Goldilocks' dipping bowl. It's not too shallow, and not as deep as regular bowls. I'm just salivating as I'm writing this. ... show more

I'm one of those weird people that doesn't like to have food touch other foods. If I have fries the catsup needs to be very separate. Wings or chicken tenders the ranch needs to be in a totally separate dish because it may run. I'm sure it has a name but I don't know it. What I do know is that these little bowls are perfect for my sauce problems. I'm able to now dip right before the hit the mouth. I love that these are not plastic. They are sturdy little bowls. The pretty pastel colors look great with my white dishes. A perfect compliment. I don't know why I waited so long to get something like this. ... show more

These are cute little porcelain bowls, and my family has already used them. They worked well for holding tartar sauce as well as dipping sauce for my chicken strips and ketchup for my fries. Excellent for condiments - soy sauce, ketchup, hot mustard, cocktail or tartar sauce, etc, but their usefulness doesn't stop there. I use them for meal prep - excellent for getting your ingredients ready for a quick stir fry, or for holding glitter, paint, glue what-have-you for crafting.
