Got this as backup for a Sarachi Apple Watch charger that plugs directly into my MacBook Pro (because my desktop plugs are all tilted on their sides), thus I haven’t actually used it much. But it’s short (fewer tangled cords to cope with in my vehicle), it’s fully rated for non-contact over-the-air charging, and Satachi has a well-deserved reputation for reliably designed products. However, I degraded my ratings slightly since I haven’t used it enough to encounter any issues yet. :( ... show more

    • USB-c spec shortcut not worth the hassle to save $5.
The digression from standard on USB-C cable spec creeps in and causes problems. It's not a mere matter of data comm, it's an inability to rely on how it behaves with other cables as connection (vs plugging directly into the power source). better off just getting a standard, flat-ribbon shorty for $9.99 and pop for the extra $5 worth of universality of use. ... show more

    • As advertised but two critical flaws.
My primary complaint is after spending $100 for the Apple Watch and AirPod Pro charger, they want another $12 for these two chargers to work properly on my MacBook since both will not fit on the same side. The other side is dedicated to the power adapter. It should have been included with their chargers. My second complaint is that they intentionally left out all the data pins and only the power pins so what should have been a universal USB-C extension cable, becomes a power-only cable which further confuses the USB-C community on "which UNIVERSAL USB-C cable works with which device, etc" constituting a massive failure on the USB-C implementation from everyone IMO. ... show more
