Summary- I have no problems with the paints or the brushes. We are not finished, but anticipate having enough. There are some areas to improve the product as noted below. What we liked: the variety of the paintings, it's fun they are different. We liked that the frames came with numbers, it made it fun where we could focus on our conversation rather then choosing which color might work the best. What we think could be better: the #'s on the pictures seem to show through the lighter colored paints. We also wish that the numbers on the paints, that coordinate with the spots on the paper, were ordered from lightest to darkest, starting with 1. This way, the lighter paint would go first, and then the darker paints which have an easy time going over lighter colors would go next. Lastly, my 8 year old completely gave up on his, and I took it over. I worked with my 11 and 13 year old and after 2 hours of painting the pictures, the above pictures show what we had completed, therefore, we believe these are more appropriate for anyone who is 10+, or else there is a good chance they get bored, or at least mine did. Maybe yours enjoys sitting for hours to finish a painting.

I have ordered a bit more complicated painting kits from this same company and really liked them. When I saw these, I ordered them for my inpatients to work on for therapy. People that had vision impairments were able to see and follow the pattern and those with other physical limitations were able to use them since the areas are larger. These are also good for beginners and younger children. The paints are thick enough that an accidental knock over does not make a mess and they stay on the brush with ease so paint isn't dripping across the canvas as they move the brush to the area they are painting. These come on a frame as well so you don't have to worry about them sliding off the table where you are painting. I would reorder them for sure.

This is one of the better paint by number sets for beginners or those who do not like the ones with tiny parts to paint. The sections are a little larger on this, and there are some parts that have rather large areas to paint with only one color, which is much less stressful than most paint by numbers out there. Pay attention to the size when ordering as these are rather large canvases. You get the paints and brushes to work on them, but I am using my own brushes. I got a late start on these and will not have them completed by Halloween, but so far I have not run into issues. The paint was not dried out. I would definitely be willing to get more paint by number sets from this brand again in the future as long as I do not run into any major issues finishing this one.
