I have a few Pi3 and Pi4 projects going on. All of them are under 5gb (must way under) after installation of the OS , GUI and other installs I'm using. These aren't the fastest, but for back up ( BU ) cards, speed isn't paramount. The important thing for BU cards is , have a bunch, so yea price, and does the Pi test like 'em. These do pass the built in Pi Test for compatibility/speed. I've had another versions of these 32Gb cards from SanDisk that did not pass the test. But this version I'm reviewing does. (SanDisk 32GB (Pack of 2) Ultra microSDHC UHS-I Memory Card (2x32GB) with Adapter - SDSQUA4-032G-GN6MT ). For actual operating cards , I use some of the newest brand name 128gb cards, which have the latest and greatest speed and application rating. And far more space than needed, but not the cheapest for just BU cards. So buying the twin pack, these are less than 1/3 the price of each of my 128gb operating card. If an operating card doe go bust, I can pull out a B/U card and copy to a new 128Gb latest and greatest card. Like anything, need to BU once in a while (and then boot from the card and test it).     • Good memory card but NOT recommended for Steam Deck

LIke many others I purchased this card for use for my Steam Deck. From day 1 I've been having performance issues with the Deck. Downloading a game on average usually takes 10+ hours with the download starting and stopping every few seconds. And this is with 300+ mbs down. Once a download has been started the Deck becomes unresponsive to the point of being unusable. You can't stop downloads, you can't start games or even access menus due to how sluggish SteamOS becomes. I tried a million things but ultimately decided to try the faster version of this card (SanDisk Extreme). Man, did all those problems go away. I can download games in less than 20mins again and I don't see the same issues with downloads stopping and starting frequently. I don't recommend the phone I bought but the 1TB of memory is great! I haven't come close to running out of memory yet. I record short videos on my phone. Takes up a lot of storage but with 1TB I can record a lot before transferring it to my desktop computer. No glitches or bat sectors. Yes, I recommend these Micro-SD chips. (Don't order from China.
