  • SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC 1 TB Review: High-Capacity, High Performance for 4K & Beyond
This SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-I 1 TB card packs serious storage and speed into a tiny package—ideal if you’re recording 4K/5K video, shooting bursts of high-resolution photos, or expanding storage on devices that support high video bitrate. With reported read speeds up to ~200 MB/s (for certain capacities) and matching write performance solid enough for most action cams, drones, and smartphones, it delivers when you need both capacity and speed. It also includes Nemesis file recovery (RescuePRO Deluxe) in some bundles, which is a thoughtful bonus. On the downside, it’s relatively expensive, can run warm under heavy use, and in non-ideal conditions (older or slower host devices) you might not fully tap into its top speed. Overall, if you need reliable, large-volume performance and want one card that can handle many roles, this is among the top picks. Pros: Huge Capacity: 1 TB gives you room for lots of videos/photos so you don’t have to swap cards often. High Read/Write Speeds: Excellent speeds (both read and write) especially useful for 4K/5K video, burst-photo shooting, or transferring large files. Versatile Use: Works well in drones, action cameras, smartphones, tablets, or any device that supports UHS-I and can handle high video bitrate. Durability & Reliability: SanDisk has good reputation; bundled software (RescuePRO) helps recover files if accidentally deleted. Cons: Cost: High performance & high capacity come at a premium. This card is more costly compared to lower-capacity or lower-speed options. Heat & Performance Throttling Risk: During sustained writes (especially video) or in warm environments, card might heat up & possibly throttle. Users should check if their device has a good cooling path. (Common for high-speed microSD cards, though specific heat performance isn’t fully documented in all reviews.) Host Device Limitations: If your device (camera, phone, etc.) doesn’t support UHS-I speeds or high write speeds, you won’t see full benefit—card’s max performance may go underutilized. Durability vs Loss/Failure: Even high-quality microSD cards can be lost, damaged, or fail. Data should be backed up regularly; size doesn’t guarantee infallibility. ... show more

  • Solid, fast, and reliable
Got this card a few months back for my AYN Odin 3 gaming handheld and it’s been working great so far. I was told to get this specifically for the read/write speeds and seems to get the job done!

  • Sandisk 1TB Micro SD card with Adapter - Worth the extra money.
Pros: - High Capacity. - Fastest Read/Write times of all the cards on the Amazon site. - Quick Delivery. - Easy installation in a Samsung Galaxy S20+ phone. - Records 4K video streams with no buffering. Cons: - Expensive SD card. - Lack of availability. I could only buy one card. I have a lot of large files and do backups of files from the phone to my servers so I need not only large capacity but high data transfer speeds. Above all, I need reliability. The Sandisk Extreme Pro meets my criterion in all respects. Sandisk has always provided me with a superior reliable product in the past so I am willing to pay more for the performance and reliability. Samsung does not offer a 1TB Micro SD card so there is only Sandisk as the supplier of high capacity, high performance SD cards. No other vendor comes close to the state Read/Write speeds of the Sandisk Extreme Pro. I have tried most of the vendors (not the no-name brands offered on Amazon) but all of them either failed within months because of the high read/write loads, or just didn't have high enough read/write speeds to meet my requirements. Only Samsung made an SD card that came closer the the Sandisk card in terms of performance and reliability. Unfortunately, the largest micro SD card that Samsumg offers is a 512 GB card. If you have ever lost your data to a SD card failure, the higher cost of a better card means almost nothing. The only problem I had with the Sandisk Etreme Pro 1TB card was that Amazon.com only had 1 card in stock when I ordered it. Since I needed 2 cards, I had to settle for ordering a Sandisk Extreme 1TB card which has slightly lower performance specs than the Extreme Pro (190 MB/sec Read vs. 200 MB/sec Read). In conclusion; if performance and reliability with the highest capacity are your requirements and cost is not really a consideration then the Sandisk Extreme Pro is the only card you want to get. ... show more

  • Phenomenal SD card highly recommend
First one I ordered for some reason would not read or even fit properly in my phone or my son's. Ended up sending it back and just running to Best Buy and grabbing the same exact one. Super fast transfer it exactly what I needed to put all my albums from my RC car videos for our YouTube channel and everything else over the years under one SD card instead of taking up all my internal storage. Super easy to use amazing video quality. Compatible with any SD card holder. I think I just received a bad one they are made in mass production. Either way I highly recommend it if you're using it for taking pictures with high quality cameras Etc. I returned it I finally got the refund did take a little bit. Wish I could have got it from Amazon cuz it was most $70 cheaper but my phones internal storage was maxed out and starting to run funny I needed it ASAP. ... show more

  • Good storage, not great speeds Good storage, not great speeds
It’s a decent SD card I use it on my ally X. I think it’s over priced to be honest. I was never able to get above 100mbs read or write with crystaldiskmark. I tried different variations of trials and size all came out the same. I seen others have gotten better and some about the same. I wouldn’t recommend trying to play games off it. I only have it on there for easy file transfer as I use it as a gaming handheld and pc for miscellaneous things. The capacity is great but the speeds are questionable. ... show more

  • Action pro must have
Did a 7 day back country trip recording at 4K 30FPS and didn't even use all the space my friend has the 32gb and he was going through them as fast as he was having to change the batteries. I also use it to record my Moto rides to work and back roughly 45 min rides each way and i get almost a month of rides on this card ... show more
