I had a pair of wooden shoes about 25 years ago and they were the best! Then you wished you still had those shoes as someone else thought they were fantastic as well! I finally found these shoes that are just like them ... and there are so many different styles and colors! I previously purchased all my clogs at The Solvang Shoe Store which is quite a distance for me to travel to buy shoes. I was so pleased to find these made by Sandgrens. So convenient. I love them so much, I purchased every color and heel heights. They are so comfortable and have an amazing selection of colors. They also come in varied heel heights. I wear a size six and they fit perfectly with thin or thick socks. Wonderful support for my feet and ankles. The outer part is a suede texture and I wore them in light rain with no problems. But of course they don’t take the place of rain or snow boots. It takes a moment to get used to the wooden style but once you do, regular shoes are never enough. I highly recommend this company for your clog needs. It’s kind of a plus/minus for me now that I don’t have to travel 200 miles to purchase my clogs which has made my husband very happy. I’m going to have to find another good excuse to visit the beautiful town of Solvang, CA.

These are my first clogs, and now I know they won't be my last. I am usually a 7 to 7.5 in shoes, with a high arch and high instep, medium width. I first ordered a pair in the 38, which was a bit too long and too loose. I then ordered the 37, which is perfect. The clogs feel like they were custom made for me. The leather is gorgeous - sturdy yet giving. No pain or uncomfortable tightness. I found the wood bases surprisingly comfortable. The rubber sole provides good traction. Looking forward to wearing these through the fall. I could probably wear them on dry winter days with a thin sock.

Probably not for everyone, but I’m a seasoned clog wearer since I was in grade school. There have been years where I didn’t wear clogs and at other times that’s all I’ve worn. These shoes are for the seasoned clog wearer. They’re beautifully made and make my size 10 feet look really, really small. I also have a second pair on another color.

I wear between 6 1/2 and 7. I ordered a sz 36 because sometimes the heel sticks out on sz 37s mules and clogs. The 36 was too tight. I wore them only twice, in the house and Sangrens wouldn’t exchange them but just gave suggestions on how to stretch them. I paid over 200$ for them. I will never order from them again and will tell everyone I know

The media could not be loaded. I bought my first pair of Sandgrens clogs four years ago, and I have worn them in until they became the most comfortable shoes I own. The leather is soft and supple and molded to my feet. However, I recently ordered a new pair, and these new ones are such an inferior imitation to my previous pair. The wood feels cheap and hollow, but most importantly, the leather is a cheap, rough, PLASTIC imitation of the previous leather. I cannot envision a world in which I wear these in to the quality of the previous shoes. So sad!

They are confortable as eccepted. But the shoes leather gives color on my feet. Every time when I take my clogs of I have to scrab my feet. Not wash but more than that scrab several minutes.. if I knew this was going to happen I wouldn’t buy it. I wear them several times so I guess I can not return it right now. This is expensive shoes.. This is not a god buy for me although clogs are confortable fits well but gives color on my feet I am not happy with and I can not wear it anymore..

This is the first amazon review I have ever written and I'm doing it because I just love these clogs! Despite the amazon reviews not being glaringly positive, I went ahead and bought these high heeled clogs to wear with socks and jeans and also to wear with shorts. And, they've proven to be super versatile. They are light weight, yet sturdy and they look kinda geek-cool too! They take a little getting used to in terms of adopting a slightly new walking style but they are not uncomfortable at all.
