We turned our backyard into a beach, paradise and removed all of our grass and replaced it with white sand. Raking it is usually tough to do with a regular rake. We bought this so that we could re-position to send in an easier and better manner, and this works perfect for that. First thing i liked about it… compact to dismantle and carry Second thing is its huge basket… strong and sturdy Ergonomics is good except that the second handle is little far from where i want to hold it comfortably I will be happy to pay 50-60 bucks for it … but its listed for 80$ Which i think is little expensive…. Especially when you can buy a regular rack for 40$ in any bait shop…… otherwise i will give 5 star with it ... show more

    • Nothing sturdy about this rake. Hopefully was just a defective one.
Rake cracked at the base of rod....quite a bit of rust was detected and that is probably the cause of brake. It is not as advertised "Study and rust resistant galvanized steel...I bought the rake only 5 months ago and must have used it 3 times....FALSE ADVERTISEMENT..... Would very much appreciate company contact me for a replacement or refund. Updated 8/17.......Supplier offered to replace the rake...Must admit it has a super customer service and almost immediate reply to my claim....I will give 5 star for service...Hopefully I will enjoy rake for many years to come. ... show more

We purchased this before heading to Florida for vacation. Used it to scrape up shells just beneath the water. It’s built sturdy. Could be a little lighter. The main thing I didn’t like was that the rubber grips weren’t permanently attached to the handle. Once they got wet, they would slide up and down. Over all it’s a good product. ... show more

It came scuffed up and scratched. The drilled holes were irregular (Only showing 2). The blue scoop, while not really a selling point, is not the 4" x 11.4" alleged by the product picture. It is 3" x 9". Part of the rake basket bent from true. Poor welds. Grind marks. For a guy my size, it's not too heavy. My wife & kids? Nope. All in all: This is a middle school shop project that they decided to charge $80 for. Not worth it. ... show more
