    • Cheap 4k monitor, dual input with pbp, cheap...

A cheap monitor that's 32", 4k, and has two inputs for picture by picture (pbp) capability. I use it for work and home; i do a split screen between a laptop and desktop and the 32" 4k gives me enough real estate for apps. It's really cheaply made though, you need to be aware of that. The frame around the screen was not fully seated and a small section was cracked. There was a small defect in the middle of the screen, like a small bubble on the plastic overlay, but no dead pixels. I had to turn off the ambient lighting detection feature and crank up the brightness to get it to looks good.     • Great Monitor for the Price - Be prepared to adjust settings

I've had the monitor for a couple of weeks, and overall I think it is a really great monitor for the price. If you need a gaming monitor, you are likely not even considering this one, but for work applications, that need a lot of monitor real estate for a price that is not budget-crushing...this should be a top consideration. Pros: Superb picture quality (Once settings are dialed in) Nice overall look, thin bezel The stand that comes with it works well for my needs (it is compact and holds monitor still) Cons: Settings to get the look dialed in, took considerable trial and error...mostly error. Out of the box, with my Mac Mini, it was ridiculously dim. I mean, I thought I must have gotten a lemon it was so dim. Several days of trying different settings on both my Mac and the monitor, and I finally got exactly what I was looking for. I've been through many monitors and I have never experiences this much difficulty getting the correct settings. Your milage may vary, and you may like the look out of the box....I did not. Everyone's setup is different, so I won't bother with my final settings, just suffice it to say...you will likely have to experiment some, but persiverence will be rewarded with a stout visual experience. I read in the reviews where some felt the monitor stand was weak and lacked in adjustment options. I don't agree on the weakness part. I type with enthusiasm, and it does not move one bit for me, but I do have a fairly solid desk. I agree in the lack of adjustment options. Can toggle front and backward, and toggle on left right axis. That is it. No height adjustment. Host PC: MBP M3 Pro 12 core cpu, 18 core gpu, 18 gb ram (the problem was obviously not my laptop) Panel: The display itself is solid. All matte screens will dim and degrade image quality. You are likely a mac user looking for a display that scales macos right. This one will, but image quality won't be the same as your macbook. UI: Everything about the UI, and I MEAN EVERYTHING, is simply put the worst designed piece of tech I have ever owned. It took north of an hour to SET UP a monitor. That is insanity. Brightness control only through remote is annoying, but the nonsensical nature of the settings, how some are seemingly randomly disabled if a select mode is enabled or disabled is confounding and goodluck with samsung support, when I contacted them they guided me to factory reset.... through a series of menus that literally did not exist. As to say they told me to enter (x) menu and (x) was not a menu that existed. A monitor so needlessly complex for no gain. I would pay to remove every inch of "Smart" from this panel. Design: It's fine. Nothing special. When I tried to give the samsung connected apps a try to give the monitor a fair shake. They advertised calibration with iphones, tried everything and it would not work with my iphone 15 plus. When contacting samsung, they said "connect it to your smart phone not your iphone." They didn't understand that the iphone is a smart phone. That's the kind of thrilling support experience you're in store for and like me will probably end up filing for a return within 24 hours. ... show more

    • Really wanted to like this… but it’s just ok

I really wanted to like this monitor and after only 1 day of use, I’m not a fan. Putting the stand and base together was intuitive and easy. First biggest turn off was the brick of a power supply. Dang. That thing is huge. Literally the size of a brick. The rest of the construction on the monitor was fine. I didn’t notice the plastic back as much as some commenters did. Base was solid and the mechanics of the up and down part were good. Once I turned on the monitor… it just didn’t work. There was a lot of set up that had to happen since it has built in apps like Disney+ and Netflix. Because of that… it was driving me nuts that I had to always use the remote to change source or adjust settings like brightness. It wouldn’t stay on computer desktop image when adjusting brightness or eye strain control. I just wanted it to be seamless but with having to use the remote and go through various menus just to change some basic settings. It should be a monitor first then a media player. ... show more
