The hardware in this phone was a pretty significant upgrade from my OnePlus 6T. Probably not so much if you were going from an S21 though. The only thing I really don't like about the phone is the fingerprint reader. So many people complained about the OP6T fingerprint reader (optical) but didn't have nearly as many problems with it than I've had with this one. I'm pretty surprised how often it'll completely fail one minute, then the next it works flawlessly. The cameras on the phone are fantastic, but then again that's not a surprise. I have the setting to limit the battery charge to 85% to extend the battery life of the phone and I don't really get to a point where I'm scrambling for a charger although I'm not a very heavy user. Charging is pretty quick but I do miss the way OnePlus does fast charging. With the way OP does their charging, the phone doesn't really heat up, unlike while charging the Samsungs. ... show more

Great phone for the money. I would certainly recommend as a replacement for an older Samsung phone. The battery life does not seem much better than my Samsung Galaxy s10, which is disappointing, but I am ok with this.

Very well build phone. I was getting tired of Samsung making all of its screens curved and I'm glad that they went away from that since Galaxy S21 line, love the flat scree. I bought the s22+ in green and I will say it's a good phone .............. Most of the time. The phone has a nice screen and it is super bright no issues even in direct sunlight which is great and I also love this green color, however that's kinda where the good ends. I have miserable battery life just barely gets through the day for me and now with a lot of usage I'd say I may get 4hrs on screen and for a phone and battery of this size that's well below average especially seeing that Samsung wants 1k for this phone($999.99) so flagship price and title but not performance and that brings me onto my next gripe the phone lags which I cannot see why I'm not doing anything strenuous just normal tasks and occasionally some games and it will takes it's time even after you go into ram plus to ensure you got all 8gb of ram(thanks Samsung for shorting us vs the 12gb in 2020) and finally the cameras well they are ok, just ok. Don't expect it to look near as good as the ultra or a iphone 13 pro but here is the kicker to my eyes it looks no better than a iphone 13 mini either so it is usable but if I'm being honest I wish I would have kept my iPhone because after living with the phone a few months in just not satisfied and that will only get worse over time as new software gets released so if my advice is worth anything pass on the s22+ there are better options. ... show more

Took a minute to get used to a new phone but now that have I like it quite a bit. It was a major improvement over my old phone seems faster and picks up signal alot better. The screen seems to be brighter and more clear.
