I am a fan of the Galaxy Note phones, and the 10+ does not disappoint. There's so much you can do with this phone, that I will probably never figure out half. I'm not a huge fan of the fingerprint reader being on the front, but it works fine. I bought it refurbished, and was leary, so I went with the one sold directly from Amazon. I must say, the phone came looking brand new, with all original parts. Amazon really went above and beyond on quality. I will definitely get my next phone the same way! ... show more

After pricing up the supplies needed to fix the cracked curved edge on my Note 9, I saw that I can get a Note 10+ for a little bit more than the replacement screen for my phone. I think if I paid full price for this thing I'd be mad because it's not really a huge leap forward over the Note 9. However for under $450, it's more reasonable for what you're getting. Migrating between Samsung phones is crazy easy now. Everything transfers over, saving all your settings and information. It's like I just took my old phone and gave it a shock in the arm. 256gb storage out of the box is nice, something Samsung doesn't offer anymore, and charges more for. Screen is what you expect from a Samsung phone. Cameras is adequate, doesn't feel like a huge step up from the Note 9, except the macro lens is way better. Battery usage seems a bit higher, both phones are outfitted with a zero lemon "car battery" 10,000mAh battery case, and the Note 9 lasts longer when powered by the external battery, usually 3/4 at the end of the day, whereas this Note 10+ will be about half. I think the Note 10+ uses more energy when it thinks it's plugged into the wall which the battery case imitates. Now my complaints about this phone, are minimal. The center hole punch camera is terrible, I've had it a week and still can't get used to this black hole in the top of my screen. There is no notification indicator option anymore to be a replacement for a notification LED. And no headphone jack, but as time goes on, I'm not using wired headphones with my phones anymore. If I want to listen to music on the go, I turned my old LG V20 into a FLAC player. All in all, it's a great device. Get a case to protect that fragile curved edge. Beware! They sent a note 10. Note a note 10+. Get a ruler and measure the phone. There is a big difference between the not 10 and 10+.

Quick heads-up: I bought my original Note 10+ directly through Samsung as a pre-order when they were released in August 2019 as a replacement for my Note 5. I loved the phone and everything about it, but I used the fingerprint reader and I found that I had to press very firmly against the glass to get my thumbprint to register. Long story short: after 2 years my Note 10+ started acting like it was receiving "phantom screen touches" when I wasn't touching the screen, and I think the problem may be tied to me pressing the screen too hard to read my fingerprints. The phantom presses rendered the phone annoying though not impossible to use. Rather than pay for a screen replacement I found an affordable renewed Note 10+ and I'm extremely happy! Using Samsung Smart Switch I was able to move from one phone to the other and nearly everything was brought over and put in the right place! * all apps were brought over, including groups/folders and widgets and were placed in the same place on the screens as the old phone * all settings were brought over, including the Bixby/power button setup * custom ring tones and sound alerts were moved but not necessarily set up on the same alarms * all messages, contacts, photo albums, downloads, , accounts, calendar appointments and reminders, notes, call logs, etc - all brought over seamlessly! Things that were not brought over: * wallpapers / themes --> there may even be a way to move these and I just haven't spent any time to figure it out yet. * passwords: the apps and accounts that need passwords need to have those logged in again The seller sent the renewed phone to me quickly - within 3 days of the order, and by the end of the night that I received the phone I had copied all the data over and moved the SIM card and had a working phone.
