I purchased this phone as the description said it was compatible with mint mobile When I tried to register it to Mint with the EIN Mint could not register. I registered based on model number but it never fully functioned. Text were sporadic, calls went to VM outgoing calls not connected most of the time so I returned it. Other than that the phone was in great shape, it worked as expected other than the carrier issue. I returned the phone and was refunded quickly. I would purchase again if it suited my needs of a different carrier. I wont give a bad rating because the product itself was great, It could be Mint Mobiles issue for the compatibility and not the sellers issue. ... show more

    • Useless phone. Doesn't work
If I can give ZERO star, I would. Anyway, bought this as a Christmas gift for my father in law as his first smartphone. After I received it in the mail, I got everything set up, including the carrier's sim card. Long story short, after 2 months, the phone stopped working. It was not able to register to the carrier (T-mobile). Can't send text or make phone calls. Assuming it's a carrier issue, I called carrier. Not a carrier issue as the sim card works on other phones. Called Samsung and device diagnostics came back as faulty motherboard. Was still inside manufacturers warranty but since item was bought via Amazon, Samsung cannot send a replacement. Initiated a return via Amazon but was told I'm not even getting the full price back, in addition to having to pay restocking fee (which doesn't make sense cause item cannot be restocked due to faulty motherboard). And no, item was never dropped, didn't get wet or anything. All seal still intact on the device. Waste of money. Waste of time. Do not buy this for your own sanity. ... show more

Phone is great as far as I know, but I have to get a whole other phone because Mint wouldn't accept it, and neither does any other company apparently. Sad I had to waste a 23 dollar gift card on this Update: this phone does work good with visible though. I still had to get another phone but at least this one is receptive to the SIM card that came with the phone from visible (which was of lower quality so I'm glad ingot to use this ine after all) ... show more

Worked great the first year. Camera was ok, not the greatest. Call time and volume seems to be good. The updates didn't really do anything other that cause my service provider to work with this phone anymore. Wasted over a $100 in prepaid service. I'll just use the provider phone sales next time.
