I absolutely love this cellphone, but, I returned it because someone dropped the ball in accessories, as much as you pay for this phone even thou it was/is a Samsung Galaxy Z fold 2 (older model) it still deserved the best cases for protecting it. My phone was in mint condition, Yes, I would recommend buying it. Just make sure you buy a warranty and don't drop it....the cases are cute, but cute don't protect. ... show more

I tried out the Fold 2 thinking that the tablet aspect of it would be a gimmick. How wrong I was. When you open the Fold 2, it doesn't feel like a bigger phone, it feels like a tablet. That extra space transforms reading into a pleasure, so much so that I haven't used my iPad nearly as much. After all, like they say about cameras, the best tablet is the one that you always have on hand. Being able to use two apps simultaneously and have enough room to make it reasonable is also amazing. Truth to be told, I don't use it very often, particularly at home during Covid, and it takes a little while to find out how to do it efficiently. But the first time you do need to use it, it's magic. I also have been using the Note 20 Ultra, and while I miss it's thinness, the better cameras, and the S-Pen, it just wasn't as enjoyable to read on. If I were travelling, I'd probably want the Note 20 Ultra with me instead of the Fold 2. But for most anything else, I'm really grooving on this phone, and am sending the Note 20 Ultra back (sob!). To get the best use out of the phone, check Youtube for a video about the 20 best secrets of the Fold 2. It's pretty brief, and covers a lot of settings and add-ons that make the phone sing (like Goodlock). I'm a very tech'y guy, but most of this is not obvious, so it's well worth watching. Definitely buy it with a good return policy, because if the tablet experience doesn't move you as much as it does me, the price is sky high and there are some notable compromises to get there. But if you feel like the screen is calling for you, get it and try it out. I don't think you'll be returning it. ... show more

I bought this phone 13 months ago and several weeks ago when I opened the phone up there was a big black line running down the middle where the crease is and I'm unable to open anything from that screen. The line has gotten big and bigger. I took the phone in to get it repaired and was told it would cost $750.00 to repair it and they would have to order the part! I enjoyed working with this phone when I could open it up. But it should not had failed after 13 months or cost just about as much as a new phone to repair it. ... show more

I got a fold2 which looks and feels brand new. I got the original 25 watt charger and usb c to usb c cable. This phone is mind blowing. Yes its heavy and definitely fragile but i have insurance one it through squaretrade. I bought the spigen pro armor case but it so thick and heavy im sending it back. It makes the phone too bulky. But for those who drop their phone alot they will need it. Im going naked and hope i will be more careful with this phone. I did buy skin for the back and that helps with scratches and grip. All for $1380 if you count the 5% from the amazon prime CC. Great deal love this phone. Great seller got back immediately with answers to my questions. ... show more

Was overall pleased with the condition of the device, though once I turned it on I was wary of the "Verizon" logo that appears during the start up. There was a note in the box with the device that assured me that the device I purchased is, in fact, "Factory Unlocked" and once a new sim card is inserted and a factory reset is completed, it should work. I followed these instructions, though there is still a "Verizon" logo during start up, a few Verizon applications that cannot be uninstalled, as well as a few Verizon themed ringtones. Since the sim card I inserted was not provided from Verizon, I get a notification every time I restart the device that the sim card is not from Verizon. Luckily, the T-Mobile sim card is working so far in terms of making calls and using mobile data, though many of the pre-installed Samsung apps will only update over Wi-Fi, and don't seem to be able to update over T-Mobile 5G, which is minor, but still an inconvenience. I am hopeful that my service will remain uninterrupted, though a bit disappointed that this product is advertised as being "factory unlocked" When it seems like, at least my device I purchased, is still somehow tethered to Verizon, and would operate better with Verizon as my service provider. Aside from the questionable advertising, I am quite pleased of the condition of the device. There are only two, hardly visible scratches on the front screen, and a very small dent on the rear camera bezel. Aside from that the device looks fantastic. ... show more
