The Samsung Odyssey G9 is fantastic—amazing display quality, refresh rate, and curve. However, the included TechSmart USA software bundle has been a nightmare. It took two days just to get the username and password, and I still haven’t received the activation key. I’ve had to contact Amazon, Beach Camera, and the software provider multiple times, and it’s been very disappointing. If you’re considering this bundle. fastforward date sep 1 2025 i still have not recived the software code. im pissed off, this company receive from me a WHOPPING MINUS ------- 5 STARS.

I was looking into getting one for a while. The big box stores were wanting a lot for it. I’m a gamer and wanted get one for that. The picture quality is awesome. It’s a 49 inch Ultrawide Monitor and the right size for what I need. It has amazing color accuracy and high HDR refresh rate of 240hz. I was able to save a lot more from getting one of of Amazon. I would recommend it for gamers and streamers alike.

It has come to my attention that numerous instances have occurred where large television screens and computer screens have been damaged during shipping due to inadequate handling. Even my neighbor reported that an individual handling the heavy loads dropped the device on the step, but this was not the cause of the damage. I do not intend to imply any wrongdoing on your part. This monitor is hot garbage. It harassed me for months to install updates which involved trying to restart while I was actively working. I finally found the setting for it to install updates while turned off. The next morning I try to log in for work (this is my work monitor - used to view large excel sheets) and it will no longer connect to my computer. Hours later with a lot of help from chat gpt I finally got it to work. Apparently the monitor will default to game mode which doesn’t connect to certain things automatically?? So I had to turn game mode off, power cycle everything, unplug and plug back in everything, and change other settings buried in menus that are not anywhere near intuitive. All of this work just to connect to a dell laptop. I do not recommend this monitor if you want something reliable that just works. If you’re an IT pro who needs a gaming monitor it’s probably fine.
