I purchased one of these monitors that was Refurbished/Renewed. Monitor arrived well packaged you wouldn't have known if that it wasn't original if not the for the "Samsung Refurbished" on the side. This is my first curved monitor I have used but I guess the curve was Okay for a Curve. I found that first person games were well and fine and felt pretty good. Rocket league though as a third person game felt very distorted. The monitor takes so long to turn on that windows will think it is no longer there and will switch to an auxiliary monitor. This caused me massive headaches as some application are not great at switching back so you would have to restart just to play the game on the correct monitor. Monitor restarts after most changes (turning on freesync, HDR, ect.). These issues will be present even if you get a fully functioning Monitor. I decided to return the one I purchased because in dark scenarios the screen would flicker like crazy. I am not sure if that was the original reason the panel got returned in the first place but its unfortunate that it got past QC like that.

Overall this monitor is very nice, it does everything I need it to do from playing rainbow six siege to guild wars 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 with clarity and nice picture but thats only after 10-15 hours of adjusting setting and downloading current firmware updates. Prior to that the screen flickered so bad during gaming when it was pushed to perform it was almost unusable, the firmware update fixed the issue but it took alot of research to figure out that this was a common occurrence and most people would just chalk it up to being faulty equipment and I couldn't blame them for that. I'm giving it 4 stars because it is overall an amazing monitor that can get alot out of your GPU, but the troubleshooting time it took straight out of the box makes it difficult for regular consumers (casual gamers, kids, etc.) To enjoy this to the fullest.

I had a Samsung G5 27 inch monitor before I purchased this one. It is completely worth the price it looks completely different. The colors pop out at you and the curve is beautiful and immerses you into the game. I would give it 10 stars if I could. I would recommend to get the refurbished like I did. I ended up saving almost 200 dollars and got a brand new monitor it was in pristine condition. Please give it a try because you won’t regret it.

First I’d like to say I was hesitant at first on this purchase. I knew it would be a gamble judging from other reviews. When the box arrived it was in an Amazon warehouse box which is no problem. It seemed to still have the original padding and packaging to protect the monitor with its curve though. Everything was included even the display cord which was nice. The only thing that was missing was the hardware to put it together (which I have extras of anyways) As far as the monitor quality goes. It was free of any visuals damage, and it functions perfectly. I have not found any dead or stuck pixels, it has very minimal back light bleed, and the picture is amazing! This was well worth the Amazon renewed purchase!

Do not buy renewed, there will be no warranty. This monitor started acting up about 3 months after I got it and now it just flickers constantly or sometimes just doesn't work. $600 trash sitting on my desk now.

I bought a Samsung G7 refurbished, I couldn't be happier. I read some some reviews about not everything being in the box, dead pixels but I had none of that. Mine came complete and like new! Couldn't be happier!

So I was skeptical with some of the reviews when I read them. Some people getting horrible items but I was surprised I couldn't even tell it was r-mac. I have used it at least 100 hours in gaming and at least 100 on regular use and no trouble what soever I will rebuild it.
