  • DONT LISTEN TO OTHER REVIEWS
Style: 240Hz Refresh Rate
FANTASTIC, VIBRANT, BEAUTIFUL MONITOR. This is my response to most negative reviews: Listen, I have owned MANY different monitors over the last 10 or so years, from VA to IPS all the way to OLED. And this monitor my friend, is gorgeous. BEZELS: Now, I see a LOT of people complaining about the black "bezels" around the monitor, which "make it appear smaller". This is nothing but placebo, yes, there are 'gaps' between the bezels of the chassis of the monitor and the actual panel itself (See pictures). So it LOOKS like it might be smaller than a traditional IPS 27" screen. But I've done measurements and the screen itself is about 26.6 inches. Whereas my old 27" Samsung IPS monitor screen is about ~26.7 inches. THIS IS MINIMAL AND NOT NOTICEABLE. Good luck trying to find an OLED without it.. ALSO TURN OFF THE LIGHTS IN YOUR ROOM IF THIS REALLY BOTHERS YOU THAT MUCH COLOR FRINGING WITH HIGH-CONTRAST TEXT(See pictures): Color fringing in QD-OLED monitors occurs due to their unique triangular subpixel layout, unlike the traditional RGB stripe pattern found in IPS displays. This layout improves brightness and color accuracy but can cause text clarity issues since most text rendering algorithms are optimized for RGB stripes. As a result, fine text may appear with colored edges or slight blurring, especially at smaller sizes or high-contrast settings. And because you are buying a 1440p monitor, this is close to unavoidable. And like what a lot of reviewers said, its really a personal thing whether is bothers you are not. For me, this was something I noticed ever so slightly at first, and then after using this monitor for a few days, I had to actively look for it to notice it. (If you plan to just use this as a gaming monitor, then you will never notice this in games) don't forget you're supposed to be 2ft away from your screen. And if you can't afford the 4k version that's okay, don't leave negative reviews about color fringing when you're talking about a 1440p qd-oled. Display: Oh. My. Gosh. Does this monitor not look absolutely stunning. The vibrant popping colors, the inky deep blacks, the responsiveness, the refresh rate. This display feels almost too good to own. You can go to the review for the G60SD on Rtings.com and get the ICC profile (color calibration file) for this panel. And once you get your HDR and colors right, this monitor just pops out at you. High-contrast scenes in video games/ movies pop out at you in a realistic way. I noticed this especially with flashlights in video games, it almost tricks your brain more into looking like real life. It's SO hard to describe without seeing it in person. I TRULY believe most people who have complained about this have not calibrated correctly, or are just blind to a certain degree, which is okay too.. (Also if you are an editor, I don't care what people say, this is a great monitor for you too...) INSANELY accurate colors, I do some color-grading and this next to my studio monitor looks close to identical color-wise, but, of course, the vibrancy isn't comparable to QD-OLED. Don't let the negative reviews fool you, most times its either snobby or ignorance. You will most likely be blown away by this screen and love it. Enjoy! ... show more

  • THE Best 1440p oled 27”
Style: 240Hz Refresh Rate
For me, this is THE end game monitor. 240hz g-sync AND Oleds have instant response time. The colors are very vibrant, I got this for around 500$ so at that price it has great value for money. The monitor is very sturdy and has a wide range of adjustability with the default stand. Easy set up and excellent picture quality! ... show more

  • Absolutely Stunning Visuals
Style: 240Hz Refresh Rate
This monitor is incredible. Even more-so when you manage to buy it at a discount. The blacks on-screen are phenomenal. The darkness really pops out at you as you expect an OLED should, but what amazes me about this monitor is the colors are also extraordinarily vibrant. I have been thoroughly spoiled with this monitor and I don't think I could ever go back, even to the extent that I am buying a second one to replace my second display monitor. Most would argue there is no need for an OLED as a secondary display, but after seeing how stunningly beautiful this monitor is, I don't think there is quite literally any other option. Monitor is worth the money, functions appropriately, and the software is also great. Highly recommend if you are looking for an OLED. Side note: I saw a lot of folks complaining about the matte coating on the screen. I don't mind it at all. It may not be for everyone, but matte coating has it's own advantages and disadvantages. That said, it looks great and has no noticeable problems at all, I would suggest this monitor to anyone looking for a great OLED. ... show more

  • Great screen. Weird auto-brightness.
Style: 240Hz Refresh Rate
Great image quality. It's my first OLED, and I bought it because of the insane sale price. Worth every cent. Though, my first model came with a very slight error in the screen, I was quickly sent a replacement. One of the flaws is that it it gets really dim depending on what's being shown. So if something has a lot of white on it, the screen will get dimmer, but if it has a lot of black, it'll get brighter. It does this in an attempt to extend the lifespan of the pixels, but it is quite jarring. ... show more

  • G6 360hz, Great OLED, but hdmi 2.0
Style: 360Hz Refresh Rate
The monitor is almost as perfect as I imagined. The OLED screen performs better than my S24 with the highlights, HDR content looks amazing. It requires some tweaking out of the box to get to the ideal settings tho. The 360hz refresh rate is actually noticeable from my ips 240hz monitor. In games, looking around is wayyy less smuggy and there is less ghosting. Test ufo proves this aswell, huge bonus. However, I am saddened that although the samsung advertising on their own website states that this monitor has an hdmi 2.1 port. This is a LIE!! I attached pictures proving this. This only matters because running non HDR 1440p 240hz on my monitor did not require display compression-dsc. However, my new 360hz monitor REQUIRES dsc, which means anytime I tab out of something the screen goes black for about 1-2 sec. That issue never happened on my 240hz. Also, I tried lowering to 8 bit color, that didn't work, and neither did disabling HDR, and neither did using display port, and neither did samsung support. So with only hdmi 2.0 or DP1.4 at 360hz i have to deal with black screens every time i alt tab. The alt tab black screen is very annoying, but this is still the best monitor I've ever had. ... show more
