  • My new fav
Size: 34-inch Style: Curved WQHD Resolution
The 34" Samsung curved computer screen is a game-changer for both work and play! The ultra-wide screen provides an immersive viewing experience, whether I’m multitasking or enjoying movies and games. The curved design reduces glare and offers a more natural, comfortable viewing angle. The picture quality is crystal clear with vibrant colors, and the wide aspect ratio makes multitasking easy and efficient. It’s well-built and looks sleek on my desk. Highly recommend this monitor for anyone seeking an impressive, high-quality display! ... show more

  • Great ultrawide monitor if you can get it under $400
Size: 34-inch Style: Curved WQHD Resolution
Overall I'm a lot happier with this than an old 4k tv from walmart. Only complaints I have were the lackluster HDR, which I expected only being HDR10, and the color, which was a super easy fix. I just changed was color, I changed it to Cool 2 and set blue to 70 and it looks perfect now. No dead pixels or cracks to speak of, just some scratches on the frame from being a clutz installing it. Unlike what the other reviews say, the power LED can be turned off while the monitor is off, by going into system and scrolling all the way down, it shows "Power LED On", and set it to "Working," this will let the LED turn off while the monitor is off. Great for someone who has their computer in their room and likes it nice and dark while they sleep. Going from 60hz to 165 was a massive difference for me, it felt like the image was clearer sooner after moving. The curve isn't too much, but 1500r would have been nice. I haven't used it for any FPS games, because I have this installed on a monitor arm on my sim racing rig, but I imagine the experience would be great. As for racing, I think 21:9 is better as it's a more efficient use of screen space. How often do you look at the roof and dashboard of your car while driving? I don't look much personally, so I thought I would get rid of the unused space and get my monitor closer to the top of the wheel so it feels more immersive, but also keep a wider FOV to see more on the track. I bought this because it ticked all of my boxes; ultrawide, >100 PPI, IPS, >144hz, 1ms response time, and a nice curve. I would say if you can get it under $400 to go and snag one. ... show more

  • I love this monitor, and I don't see any ghosting issues as a gamer
Size: 34-inch Style: Curved WQHD Resolution
I played cyberpunk 2077, everspace 2, Rust, valorant and several other games on this monitor and I didn't experience any of the ghosting that the other reviews complained about. I did a ghosting test online and it was negligible at best. This monitor is the best I've ever had, I put an ergonomic monitor vesa mount to make this thing rotate and line up perfectly with my head to remove neck cramps from looking up too much. The monitor stand it came with was flimsy but not terrible, however I don't use it now that I have the vesa mount. I've watched several movies on this with Plex and the auto aspect ratio is actually pretty decent which is surprising considering most movies have black bars to create the right ratio. Playing games in this thing is very immersive. The refresh rate is great with 165hz, and little customizing is needed out of the box to get it just right. With a high end graphics card like from Nvideas RTX line, you can't go wrong. I'm using an Nvidiea RTX 2070 super and this thing looks great. I even use it with my Mac Pro 2013 model and it also looks great, and it auto changes the display correctly so Windows or Mac this thing looks great. No more need for dual screens, just open two windows and put them side by side, its essentially the same thing, but now theres no plastic bar inbetween the two screens, just one seemless experience. If you are looking for the best monitor screen, I think this is it so far, especially price wise. I know there are better monitors that exist with better specs or bigger sizes, but this is really all the retail space you'll ever need. I even find myself using it for movies, even though I have a 55 inch Samsung 4kHDTV which is surprising. Don't believe the haters, just get it and return it if you don't like it, but I think this is definitely a solid product that you will enjoy for years to come, and Samsung is a great company, great customer service, and high build qualities that last for a decade or more. ... show more

  • Buyer Beware! CHEAPLY MADE monitor, with major issues. Samsung does not honor their warranty.
Size: 34-inch Style: Curved WQHD Resolution
I’ve gone through TWO of these Samsung 34” Odyssey G5 Ultra-Wide monitors in just 6 months—both failed catastrophically. First unit: The menu knob was so loose it literally fell off within weeks. Second unit: After only 4 months, the screen developed a full white haze across the display (photos attached). Completely unusable. Samsung’s warranty? A joke. Yes, it’s under their 1-year warranty, but they expect me to pay for shipping to send it in—because of where I live. Their own rep (very polite, but powerless) confirmed that customers in some locations have to foot the bill to get THEIR defective product repaired. Ridiculous. Build quality? Cheap plastic garbage. Shocking for a monitor marketed to gamers. You feel it the moment you unbox it—nothing premium here. False advertising alert: “HDR compatible” is printed right on the box, but don’t be fooled. The HDR implementation is laughably bad—washed out, dim, and not real HDR as multiple reviews have already pointed out. Bottom line: Don’t risk your hard-earned money. There are better, cheaper options out there from AOC, LG, and others who actually stand behind their products. I regret not listening to the red flags. You’ve been warned. ... show more

  • heck, pretty good monitor
Size: 34-inch Style: Curved WQHD Resolution
for the price this is a really good deal! wishing i got the G9 or something a bit bigger but i am not complaining! turns out theres not a whole lot of things that actually use the ultra wide and i almost wish i just got 2 monitors instead. BUT!!! this is a really nice monitor! nice colours and nice response time. 165hz wont work through the hdmi (which is normal). if you are looking for a really decent ultrawide for gaming or whatever else, i do recommend this if you dont wanna break the bank! ... show more
