The dimensions seem to be just right. The mesh was slightly bent up upon arrival but barely enough to notice and not enough to be a problem. Assembly was super easy with the included wrench.

The best way to organize a desk – a desk file organizer/ file sorter! As a teacher, I have endless amount of forms, student work, and such that requires filing. The Samstar 7 Tier Paper Letter Tray, Mesh Desk File Organizer was just what the doctor ordered. This product is sturdy, proving to be a much better alternative to plastic rack organizers that can easily break (been there, done that). The mesh material feels secure as well as aesthetically pleasing. A product that requires assembly, the directions are easy to follow, and assembly takes no more than a few minutes. The capacity of the trays is respectable, with the ability for each tray to successfully hold a few stacks of papers without a hitch. Moving it, if necessary, is no big deal either, given the holes (handles) at the top. No overanalyzing this organizer – it provides the goods.

I liked the looks of this paper-letter storage tray and thought it’d be a good addition to my office sitting on top of my side table. My main office desk has 4 large black-framed computer monitors which consume nearly all the desk - allowing no storage. Paper and mail “magically” get cluttered after a couple days in front of the monitors – no organized storage and queue space. Being black metal mesh, I thought this storage shelf might look nice with my office decor – which it does! What I liked: - The mesh-metal shelves arrived protected in plastic. This shelving system is lightweight, yet quite sturdy. I love the built-in handles at the top of the unit to move it around. - My paper letter tray is the one which has 7 tiers. The top shelf and the bottom shelf are fixed and are used for structural support along with the already joined (actually hinged) back and side pieces. The five shelves between the top and bottom are sliders. As long as they aren’t loaded too heavily, you can slide them out about 8”. The shelves are 9 ¼” deep and 12 ½” wide, so they’re perfect for most magazines, paper, and reports. - Assembly was so simple! There are 4 small screws, 2 on each of the non-moving shelves. Once you unfold the 2 sides from the back, it takes only 2-3 minutes for assembly. It even comes with a little Allen wrench to tighten the screws. Assembly pictures are included. Final thoughts: This is a great little storage tray. I like the idea of the sliding shelves, the quality construction, and its nice design. The price point makes it a great value. I rate this unit 5-stars and hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Thanks for reading my review.
