Honestly I would have loved to buy a slightly larger carry on. I agonized over this purchase because this is a really small suitcase. BUT, it meets the requirements of my upcoming international flight (China Airlines) and I really didn't want to run into a gate check situation because my luggage was one inch over. Not worth it. Plus I think this makes the cut for most European airlines, too. (Never a guarantee, your bag could still get checked on a full flight, especially if you are flying economy). The luggage arrived in good condition and it looks super nice. Feels solid and I have no complaints. I will see how it fares after a few flights! What does it fit? I put my large packing cube that contains 7 pairs of pants (lightweight joggers & several linen pairs), two button down shirts and five tank tops on one side of the case, then squeezed two cubes that contain all my underclothes, swimwear, and pajamas on the other side. I can MAYBE fit a pair of shoes in there, if not they will go in my backpack. I'm leaving for two months and EVERYTHING I will need must fit between this case and my 30ish liter backpack. It's going to be tight but doable. If my clothing was a little lighter weight it would be better. Packing for a winter trip in this thing would be super difficult. When open, the side with the handle is shallow and the railings take up a good deal of space. I need a bigger carry-on so it’s going back. If you are looking for a smaller bag, it’s great. I love this. It’s small, yes, but the dimensions are clearly stated. You really have to read carefully with luggage - I tried a few other roller carry-ons that were the standard roll-on size but the interior dimensions were the same as this one. It rolls well, the handle is high enough (I’m 5’10”), and I was able to pack for an 8-day, 7-night trip to the Caribbean with this and a backpack. It was easy to lift up and get in the bulkhead, not too heavy or awkward. I like the side handle (not all carryon roller bags have a side handle). It’s cute. The inside material was higher quality than other brands I tried. I also have this in the next size up, which I would take for trips or trips where I need a bit more room for thicker or more clothes or shoes (for work or winter traveling). It said that this item was frequently returned. Now I know why. The claimed measurements are 22x14x9, which are the exact measurements I need. The real dimensions are closer to 20x12x8. Way too small. Almost the size of under seat carryon. Already have that. So this one is going back. It’s a shame too, this seems like a good product. ... show more
