These shoes are well made and very classy. I wear a size 8 and the fit was perfect. They do make my feet look a bit bigger than they are but that may be because of the color white. I love anything from Adam Edelman, from heels to sandals to loafers to tennis shoes, every pair seem to be made for my feet. I have fairly petite 5-5.5 size feet and it can be hard to find grownup looking shoes that are comfortable and also stylish. I have a pair of their Jordan pumps that I can wear all day and their tennis shoes are my go-to walking shoe for our trips abroad. The leather in their Lorraine loafer is the softest you’ll find and I can wear them all day long without my feet bothering me at all. They look great with jeans or nice linen walking shorts and a blouse. They are very versatile so are a great functional go-to for your wardrobe. These Sam Edelman Loraine loafers are decent — they look classic and stylish, and the leather feels nice right out of the box. They’re easy to slip on and go, and they pair well with both casual and slightly dressier outfits. My main issues were comfort and fit. They took a little breaking in, and on longer days my feet started to feel sore. Mine also ran slightly narrower than expected, so if you’re between widths you might want to size up or consider a wide option. Overall, they’re a good-looking pair with solid craftsmanship, but not the most comfortable for all-day wear. Fine if you wear them occasionally, but not a standout for everyday use. ... show more

I’m typically a size 6 with my foot length, but have very a narrow foot. I had tried these on in store, and a 6 was too loose. Sliding off. Ordered the 5.5 online and they fit perfectly.
