This was my first time using a skimboard, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to learn. The board feels sturdy, glides well across the water, and has a nice finish. It was a lot of fun at the beach and made picking up the basics much easier than I expected. Great quality and a fantastic choice for beginners or anyone looking to have fun in the surf.

The first day my grandson used the board it started delaminated. My husband had to use weld bond to glue it back together. Expected better from this brand.

The SALT LIFE Wooden Skimboard has been such a fun addition to our beach days! It was easy enough for me to get the hang of after a few tries, and honestly, watching my 5-year-old attempt to skim across the sand had everyone laughing. 😂 She had an absolute blast, even when she spent more time falling than riding. The board feels sturdy and well made without being too heavy to carry down to the beach. The design is really nice too—it definitely looks more expensive than it is. It glides well on wet sand and has held up great after multiple uses with no chipping or peeling. Whether you’re buying it for yourself, older kids, or just want something fun to keep everyone entertained at the beach, the SALT LIFE Wooden Skimboard is a great pick. Just expect a few wipeouts, lots of laughs, and sore cheeks from smiling so much!
