I don’t normally write reviews, but this product had so many reviews that threw me off when reading them, that I thought this review might help. First, I want to say that this is an excellent product if you understand what it is and what its purpose is. This is a body makeup, not a sunless tanner! While it can, and does give a sun kissed glow like a sunless tanner, its uses and properties are vastly different. I got the “fairest” shade and it makes my very light skin look nicely tanned. It’s not a deep dark tan, but very close to my normal sun-tanned shade. I bought this product because, after multiple pregnancies, I have many unsightly veins on my legs that make me self conscious when my legs are visible. So let me highlight this product: 1.) It is a water resistant makeup foundation. It is not totally soap proof so you might see minor steaks after showering, it is not at all difficult to touch up and blend the streaks out. 2.) It is buildable until you get the coverage you need, or desire. The color does deepen the more layers you put on. I don’t find it necessary to use more than two layers. 3.) Since it is not a sunless tanner, it dries quickly and does not rub off on clothing once it is dry. Many reviewers mentioned mixing it with other lotions or lotioning the areas you normally lotion before using sunless tanners (elbows, knees, around feet and ankles, palms). This is not necessary or recommended. I believe this contributes to the many reviews that complained of it rubbing off. The other lotions disturb the adhesion of the foundation. 4.)The color you achieve after putting it on is the color it will stay. It does not develop over time like a sunless tanner. This makes it very easy to get flawless even coverage. The coverage I have achieved is not complete coverage, (I don’t believe you could cover a tattoo with it), but it does vastly improve discolorations and unsightly veins. The improvement is enough that I feel comfortable when my legs are visible. 5.) While it is marketed to the legs, this can be used beautifully on any area of the body including the face. 6.) It can be easily exfoliated away when you are finished with it. 7.) No special care is necessary when using your hands to put it on. It will wash off your hands with soap and water. 8.) I have received many compliments saying my legs have never looked so good!

I love this product. I'm 75. Old age makes your skin spotty and uneven. I don't like to wear stockings, especially in summer. The look of this leg makeup is great. You don't need much. I used about a quarter size dollop to do both legs..I could have used a little less. I smoothed it evenly and took paper towels to rub off most from the back of my legs. It doesn't rub off as much as face makeup, but it does a little bit, that's why I took most off the back. (I didnt want to worry about it staining furniture...) I won't wear it every day, but its perfect for many occasions. I'll wear it with sun dresses, shorts and mid calf pants. This product gets a thumbs up.

I never write reviews, but I figured I would for all of the pale people out there. I got this because I have a work function where I will need to wear a dress. As you can see, I’m so pale that any little blemish shows up. I also have dark hair, so God-forbid, I get cold and then you’ll see new little leg hairs popping up. Since t’s just not feasible to shave every 2 1/2 minutes, I figured I would try this. I got the lightest color available here, it went on super easy and has made a HUGE difference in the appearance of my legs so I won’t have to be so self conscious. It is a little dark still, because pale people have little options in colors actually pale enough to match our skin tone. However, it covers well and the color is not too dark where it will be weird looking. Overall, I’m super happy with this.

Never tried leg makeup before now, but I’m sold on this stuff!! I stopped wearing capris a few years ago because my legs had so many “age” spots and assorted other marks and were so white. I used to use self-tanner cream, but it only emphasized the spots, making them darker. However, when I put this stuff on, it tanned my legs AND covered all my various marks quite a bit too. Now I wear shorter styles and skirts all the time. Tip: DO NOT spray directly on legs. Spray some on palms of hands and rub on legs. Also, give it some time to dry, say, maybe 20 minutes before putting clothes on. Another Plus: it only comes off with soap and water, so if you don’t lather up your legs in the shower (just let water run over them), it will last several days.

This is a must have for summer. I tan my legs only during the summer when I go out bare legged with my skirts. The tan is very natural looking. What is difficult to explain and difficult for others to believe is that one application will last for almost a week, through showers and swimming. It truly is waterproof. I use gloves to apply and rub in thoroughly. Then when I shower I do not rub my legs with the washcloth and soap. It goes through showers just fine!. Swimming also! To remove use washcloth and soap and wash. Removes easily and completely when sort of scrubbed with the washcloth and soap. I love this product!

I love this stuff sooo much! it's honestly gorgeous! I am a 24 year old women who has some varicose veins and some stretch marks. I am also very pale. when I use this I feel amazing. it covers most of the varicose veins and hides a lot of the stretch marks. it is also shimmery which looks so pretty. I use it everywhere. it isn't orange its actually tan. it also fade gradually with showers. doesn't streak and doesn't stink! exfoliate first and then rub a little unscented lotion on your face, knees, elbows, and ankles (dry areas) then apply this all over . I use a mitt. definitely worth a buy.

I swear by this stuff! It's easily applied, dries fast, and doesn't rub off on clothing. It also gives a moisturized look to your legs. I apply it by spraying it in my hands and rubbing it on like lotion otherwise the spray will get onto your surrounds. Only con - the shimmer will settle at the bottom of the can during the last few uses. Make sure to shake it really well every time you use it.
