My first use of this product was for my pickup's windshield. I had a new windshield put in a few years ago due to a thrown rock from another vehicles tire. Recently the windshield developed a leak at the top. I used this device with clear silicone, it worked great and looks neat and professional.

Pulls up old caulk fine in some spots, in other spots it doesn't work at all. Spreading of the caulk isn't as easy as demonstrated, and doesn't really work when it comes to applying and spreading caulk evenly.

I was a little hesitant to buy this, but I did. I also bought another one from home depot to compare and this by far exceeded my expectations. It is not a cheap built tool, what I liked about it is that it comes with several tips for caulking.

I like its idea when I first saw it. After I got the part, I found its build quality is not that great: - The metal knife head part is quite sharp, use it needs very carefully. - The screws to lock the knife head are very cheap material, watch out it will hurt your fingers. - There are three additional plastic knife heads, the design should have storage holding these parts to keep the each part together.
