We generally take Mom's car everywhere, but when it was time to upgrade to a booster seat this was perfect for me because we mostly take 3-5 minute trips to parks, pools, and very nearby grandparents in my vehicle. This seat is super easy. It doesn't even latch to the car seat, so note that if that would concern you. I got this for my 9 year old who's not tell enough to be without a booster yet. We were rear-ended hard while using it. He came out uninjured from the wreck. His brother and I were more severely injured. This booster seat kept him positioned in the seat and seat belt just as it should have. The padding is well done. Not as thick as more expensive seats, but comfortable. The cup holders don't stay in well. They rotate to pop out for cleaning, which is nice, but my son rubs into them when he sits down and rotates them and they seem to always be in the floor instead of in the seat. ... show more
