    • GREAT BEG. JAZZ CRASH
Size: 16 Inch
This is a great crash cymbal for a beginning jazz drummer. Jazz crash cymbals need to have a complex sound and make the "crash" sound at a low volume. This does what is needed. If you play too loud on it, it sounds "gong-y", but that's only when you're playing beyond the volume you should for jazz. It makes a fair sounding jazz ride as well. ... show more

Great cymbal with crisp and quick sustain, exactly what I needed. Looks great and hopefully will endure for a long time. I use all Sabian and have never been disappointed.

    • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Great Sound and Value for the Price!**
Size: 14 Inch
I recently picked up the **SABIAN 14" B8X Thin Crash**, and I am thoroughly impressed with its performance! This cymbal delivers a bright, cutting sound that is perfect for a variety of music styles, from rock to jazz. The thin profile allows for quick response and a nice, explosive crash that adds a lot of character to my drumming. One of the things I love most about this cymbal is its versatility. It shines in both live performances and studio recordings, providing a clear and crisp sound that doesn’t get lost in the mix. Whether I'm playing softly or going all out, it always delivers that perfect splash of brightness. The build quality is excellent for a cymbal in this price range. It feels sturdy and well-made, and I've had no issues with durability even after frequent use. The B8X series is known for its reliability, and this cymbal is no exception. For drummers looking for an affordable yet high-quality crash cymbal, the SABIAN 14" B8X Thin Crash is a fantastic choice. It offers great sound, a professional appearance, and the versatility to suit any genre. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their cymbal collection! ... show more

    • Nice, light sound, does not require as hard of a hit for good sound. Great for smaller venues.
Size: 14 Inch
I was looking for a crash cymbal that had a lighter sound, and not need to be hit quite as hard, for small venues. I'm using this with my Gretsch Catalina Club Street kit, and this worked out great for that.
