pros are it's an excellent flyer with three speeds is insanely fast. flew in 15mph wind and had no trouble at all. cons connecting to a phone takes several tries. have tried samsung s8,samsung a21 and samsung s21 all had trouble connecting. app has major lags and freezes quite a bit. only 201grams flight weight. really fun to fly except for the app being crappy. if they would fix it would be a great package. ... show more

    • I recon these toys are best for younger people
I recon when you reach my age this type of toy is better suited for the younger ones I have still not gotten very use to it I expect I will be working with it for a while if I plan to use it the way it intended or give it to someone who seems to be a natural with such things

    • Instructions, we don't need no instructions.
So, with that said, I have done some research, for a low price, good drone, check out Holy Stone, they have instructions and support and seem to have decent ratings here on Amazon. I purchased this because normally with most items I get from Amazon, even though they are a bit odd, still come with some instructions and then have a website or something to connect to. THIS DOES NOT. I bought this as a trainer drone, just to get used to the feel of how to fly one, my work is getting me licensed for a 107, so I thought, what better way to learn. Well, get an app, it might be easier. But, some things I learned from this. First, the instructions are vague, I had to search and search and finally found a youtube video on how to get this thing in the air. And even then the video I found was not robust. It assumes you already somewhat know what the buttons and things do, no support if you are trying to figure it out. I still have it and have not returned it, only because I liked the challenge. The instructions say things like, "calibrate the whatever" how do you do that? Not quite sure still, there are no instructions that tell you. Second, THIS IS NOT FOR KIDS, DO NOT GET THIS FOR ANYONE YOUNGER THAN 13 or 14. Even then I am being a bit conservative. When I first tried to fly it, I didn't calibrate it properly, my fault, and in trying to fly it in the house (ps, not a good idea) it flew at me and I had to dodge it. So now I am playing dodge drone and trying to land and grab it to turn it off. THOSE PROPELLERS ARE SHARP, and YES, they hurt. They are like mini spinning blades, similar to something from the movie Krull (look it up). Third and lastly, I did learn to do some research, get something that has instructions. ASK IN THE QUESTION SECTION IF THEY HAVE SUPPORT/INSTRUCTIONS. This is important, this will go a long way. So, before you buy, make sure they have a valid website with forums or something to go to to try and help. I would STRONGLY recommend skipping this one, it looks cool, but that is about it. Also, one of the batteries is malfunctioning and will not charge or fit into the drone. If I do buys another lo price drone, I will pay a little more. ... show more

Love this drone it out preforms any other drone I've ever had long lasting battery... really 20 min flights each battery stable pictures and it handles amazingly in strong winds all features work flawlessly no lagging controls very responsive my kids crashed many times light weight durable still flying strong dont wanna spend the money 4 a maverick this is my next choice oh and gesture control follow me face and palm fallow with GPS it wont float away ps don't fly outside in indoor mode on windy day unless you're confident enough 6 of my friends baught the same drone they were impressed with mine ......... thank u for hrs of enjoyment and capturing presus family moments ... show more

    • Disappointing Drone
The drone has a terrible time latching on to gps satellites for preflight, it usually takes 25 - 50 % of the battery life sitting on the ground searching for satellites. The FPV has never reached anywhere near was is advertised, it is usually disconnected from my galaxy note 9 at about 100yards. I will be generous and say that up to 100 yards out, the video looks ok. That's it. one of the three batteries was delivered in a bloated state but they do hold a charge. hard to tell on the flight time when half of the bird's awake life is spent pondering the sky and searching for gps. the thing has developed a mind of its own and will now randomly divert from remote instructions that i input and will fly away in god only knows what direction or for how far. definitely have to keep in sight or you may never find it. ... show more
