I picked up this grip tape for my longboard, and it turned out even better than I expected. The hexagonal pattern gives it a unique look while still providing excellent traction under my shoes. It feels secure and gives me a lot more confidence when riding, especially on downhill stretches. The size (12” x 48”) was perfect for my board—I had enough coverage with a little room to trim. The adhesive is strong and stuck down without any bubbles, and it hasn’t started peeling at the edges after a few rides. Cutting and applying it was pretty easy too. What I like most is the balance between grip and comfort. It locks my feet in without being overly harsh on my shoes. The black design with the subtle pattern makes my longboard look sleek and clean. Interesting grip pretty mellow as far as goes with the exception of a little bit of peel up it seems to work pretty good… The peel might be from my first time applying… Bonus is you can just brush off dirt and it looks brand new

This is barely my third time applying griptape to a skateboard, and it was by far the easiest. I think that's mostly due to the material used here. It's definitely not heavy sandpaper like most griptape. This material is a lot more pliable, and easier to manipulate. I am HORRIBLE with griptape jobs - leaving jagged edges everywhere along with a few air bubbles. This went on quick and easy. As far as durability, it does seem a bit thin and may not last long for street skaters. This went on a cruiser, and the only thing I do beyond that is pumptrack, so I'm not terribly concerned that it won't last. The hexagon pattern looks really good as well. You can see the before and after in my pics, and as with most griptape jobs, it makes the board look much better, and almost new to the naked eye. If the maker gets into different colors and patterns, I'll likely get more for my other boards.

I recently received this S&X black grip tape, and while it's marketed for skateboards, I had a different use in mind: my RV stairs. I'm happy to report it's working out wonderfully. The 12" x 48" single sheet was just the right size, and the hexagonal pattern truly provides superior grip, which is exactly what I needed for those slippery steps, especially when it's wet outside. It was straightforward to apply, and it's holding firm, giving me much more confidence when going in and out of the RV. This tape is a simple yet effective solution for adding a non-slip surface wherever you need it, and for my RV stairs, it's been a real winner for safety and peace of mind.

I received the product: 'S&X Premium Skateboard Grip Tape 11” x 36” - Single Sheet, Hexagonal Pattern for Maximum Traction' as part of the Amazon Vine Program in exchange for my honest review and here are my thoughts: >Quality and value for the money is great, the tread feels grippy. >However, the easy of cutting and application is a bit tough with the backing difficult to separate from the adhesive. With some patience I was able to separate the backing, but if you aren't careful, the adhesive was wanting to come off with it. >As far as performance, the grip tape works as designed.

I purchased this to recover a onehweel board. The product is thin, the adhesive and grip texture both get a pass, but aren't great. I only used it for a bout a week, as the design and function were not what I had expected.

PROS: - The grip tape arrived well-packed and rolled up nicely without any damage. - It was easy to cut and shape to fit the skateboard, no additional trimming or reapplying needed. - The adhesive is strong and held securely to the board right from the start. CONS: - The patterned design has noticeable gaps where there’s no grip, which could lead to faster wear and flaking over time. THOUGHTS: So far, installation was smooth, and everything laid down clean without bubbles or peeling. The tape sticks well and looks good initially. However, I do have some concerns about the durability of the material, especially where the grip pattern has non-grit areas. It may wear down faster than traditional full-coverage grip, but I’ll need more time to properly test it during regular skating. Trying not to knock it till I try it. Worth trying if you're into designs, but durability could be a trade-off.
