  • Superior product
Color: Blackgreen
I’ve tested a lot of gaming headsets over the years, ranging from budget options to premium models, and I can honestly say the Captain 200 has the best overall quality of any headset I’ve personally used. Before buying these, I was fully prepared to purchase Microsoft’s official Xbox Wireless Headset because I assumed it would offer the best experience for Xbox. After spending time with the Captain 200, I’m genuinely glad I chose these instead. The first thing that stood out was the comfort. The rotating ear cups, lightweight design, and adjustable headband make them incredibly comfortable even during marathon gaming sessions. They don’t create the pressure points that many other headsets do, and they rest comfortably around your neck when you’re taking a break. The sound quality is equally impressive. The 50mm drivers deliver crisp highs, clear mids, and surprisingly deep bass. Directional audio is excellent, making it easy to pinpoint footsteps and other subtle sounds in competitive games. The low-latency wireless connection keeps everything feeling responsive, and I’ve never noticed any distracting delay. The microphone also exceeded my expectations. Friends consistently tell me my voice comes through loud and clear, and the ENC noise cancellation does a great job minimizing background noise without making my voice sound artificial. Battery life has been outstanding as well. I can game for days before needing to recharge, and the quick charging is a welcome bonus. Build quality is another area where these shine. They feel solid without being overly heavy, and they seem much more durable than many plastic gaming headsets I’ve owned in the past. Nothing about them feels cheap. The only real downside which actually is a relatively minor one; is that these are not the official licensed Xbox wireless headset. So to use the wireless connection with the Xbox, you need to plug the included wireless adapter into a compatible Xbox controller. Unlike Microsoft’s official Xbox Wireless Headset these connect directly to the console without a dongle, these require that extra step. It’s worth noting that older Xbox One controllers (2013–2015) aren’t compatible with the adapter. Even with that limitation, I still prefer the Captain 200 over the official Xbox headset I was originally planning to buy. For me, the superior comfort, richer sound quality, impressive battery life, excellent microphone performance, and overall build quality more than make up for needing the controller adapter. If you’re looking for a wireless gaming headset that delivers premium performance without the premium price, this has easily become my favorite headset I’ve ever owned and one I can confidently recommend ... show more

  • Deff..worth it
Color: Blackgreen
I've had alot of headsets over the years for gaming. Not bad at all, even using the Bluetooth for music bass is excellent. Work well with Dolby on the Xbox, The headset is as loud as you want it with the filters. Good noise canceling, and surprisingly light weight. So I came back for another review...it redirected me back to my original review, I have a 4k sony receiver and can switch from my receiver straight to my headset after pairing with a few seconds of holding the M button.. • Stopped Charging in Less Than a Month of Purchase
Color: Blackgreen
We received this headset on July 16th. It worked for my son's xbox without an issue, or so I thought. He kept telling me it wasn't charging, but I thought he was just being lazy and not charging it. Turns out it really wasn't charging. Today, 8/6/26, not even a month of having it, it has stopped charging completely. I have it on a charger that is fast-charging, and works without an issue on my headset which is a Captain 300, my cell, and my Oculus Quest 3. Very disappointed. Luckily, I am in the replacement/return phase, and will be returning it. Another thing I noticed, I have a Captain300. Which is flawless and has worked for years. This headset says its a Captain200 but has the same IC:30272-CT300 as my Captain300, which means its a Captain300. The pictures I attached show the black one I ordered here, and the white REAL Captain300. Kinda fishy. Even the name of the black headset is not titled with proper capitalization like the white one. ... show more

  • Unironically extremely top notch for an unknown brand
I’m going to write a genuine lengthy review since the reviews seem sparse but this headphone set so far had been amazing. I honestly ordered this because I didn’t know what headset to get since everything seemed so pricey and then I saw this skeleton headset and thought, hm.. this is actually really funny. So I ordered it and I recieved it yesterday and used it immediately to game and voice chat. The first thing I noticed when I tested the audio quality of the headphones was the noise cancelling aspect and how wonderful the audio sounded overall. I could barely hear anything with my headphones on and when I was playing music, it sounded so crisp in the best way possible. Dare I say even better than my sony headphones I use to listen to music on.. Now I’m no expert nor do I own a ton of headphones or am a connoisseur of the best audio from a headset, but for the price of this random brand, and a seemingly risky buy, this is phenomenal! Now for the mic quality, I would say it’s pretty decent for as good as a gaming mic can be. My friend told me he could finally hear me and it’s the clearest he’s ever heard my mic be. I tested the quality of the mic on audacity and it seems to be pretty solid. However, one thing is that I hear a very faint high pitched ringing in the headphones but it’s not noticeable unless your ears are hypersensitive like mine. They are also bulky so you might need to invest in a headphone stand. The colors also change on the headset with a button for different options of colours to choose from, ranging from being solid red, moving rainbow, to green, etc. If you’re not a fan of the coloured lights, you can just turn it off. Overall, the performance of this headset has been excellent especially for being an unknown brand. This has been a wonderful buy and I am so glad to have also gotten a coupon for it so I got it for $42. Also, one thing to be noted is that I play on a gaming PC but other reviewers have said it works fine for their consoles but take that with a grain of salt if you may. Hope my review helped anyone deciding on a headset! :3 ... show more

  • A Gamer's Honest Take on a USB Headset
This gaming headset is a solid choice that meets expectations, particularly for someone who has used countless headsets over the years. My personal criteria for a good gaming headset are straightforward: digital (USB) connectivity and the largest speaker drivers available for a decent sound experience, especially for lower frequencies. This headset meets both of those requirements. It's not audio perfection but I am not seeking that for gaming. Like almost every other modern headset on the market including those costing hundreds of dollars I have bought, regardless of price, the earcups and headband use pleather and foam. From my experience with dozens of headsets, I've found these materials all seem to degrade and fall apart in about a year of heavy use. This headset appears to use similar materials, so I have the same expectation for its long-term durability. However, within those realistic expectations, the headset performs exceptionally well. The sound quality is good, and it works flawlessly via the USB connection. For the price, it's a solid, functional piece of gear that delivers where it counts. ... show more

  • From Haunted Drive-Thru Audio to Crystal Clear Glory
Color: Blackgreen
I went into this purchase emotionally damaged from my last Xbox headset, which sounded like I was communicating through a haunted drive-thru speaker, so my expectations for something under $50 were basically nonexistent—but somehow this headset pulled off a full redemption arc; the mic is shockingly clear to the point where my friends actually stopped saying “what?” every five seconds and started responding like I’m a normal human being, which alone feels like a technological miracle, and while the sound isn’t some elite, cinematic, hear-footsteps-from-another-dimension experience, it’s genuinely solid with clear audio, good volume, and none of that muddy, underwater nonsense I suffered through before, plus it’s comfortable enough that I can game for hours without feeling like my skull is being slowly compressed by regret, so overall this headset took me from “apology tour in party chat” to “confidently calling plays like I know what I’m doing,” and for the price, that’s not just a good deal, that’s character development. ... show more

  • Annoying voice you cannot turn off!
Color: Blackgreen
The wireless functionality works great. No latency. Headset is comfortable. But there is one thing that drives me absolutely crazy and it's this robot voice that you can't turn off. It comes on to say "pairing" or "connecting" but then also every time you mute it, it goes "microphone off" and it mutes all other audio also. It's an infuriating feature and almost ruins the whole headset for me. ... show more

  • The best headphones for playing games.
Color: Blackgreen
I bought the headphones for my husband, and he loves them. He uses it for gaming. The headset adjusts for his size. He said it was easy to use and believes his going to have the earphones for a long time because they are durable. He likes the way they look, and he has a slight hearing loss, but he said he can hear when other players talk. So I am giving these headphones 5 stars. ... show more
