This is going to work great for topping off my car tires every month. The built-in gauge may run a little high on the PSI, so be sure to check with another gauge.

I don't typically buy Ryobi products, most of my cordless tools being Bosch and Milwaukee. However I saw this, the hot melt glue gun, and the low pressure inflation tool and had to have them. This is great for refilling tires around the job site, basket balls/foot balls/soccer balls for the kids. It is way more handy than a compressor. It is capable of filling six full size car tires on the large 4.0 amp hour battery. It is also portable unlike a compressor. Small and portable it should be great for every day and trips. I have multiple Ryobi 18 volt batteries for other tools so that means lots of charge! It does work and I was skeptical about that.

    • I love this thing! Powerful, great battery life, quick charge.
I bought this primarily as a quick inflator for motorcross and enduro riding since I air my tires up and down depending on terrain, and I can throw this in a gear bag without taking up a lot of space. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time, and it charges up in about 30 minutes. It's great for airing up car tires, the lawnmower, pool toys, bicycles. Less of a hassle than a compact air compressor, less effort than a hand pump. I can't believe I waited so long to get one of these. ... show more

    • Great Idea, but I received a defective unit.
I really liked the idea of this inflator. It is much more convenient than a regular air compressor and I had high hopes. I have not had good luck with some Ryobi tools. For instance, I bought a Ryobi pressure washer from a big box retailer and within three uses, I had to take it for repair. Drill, no problem. So I would say I have had inconsistent results with Ryobi. But I looked at the reviews and it got high marks so I purchased it. During the first use on the third tire (Honda Fit) it began to screech loudly. It was almost as though there should have been oil in the unit and there was not oil in the unit. I also noted a burning smell. I returned the unit. I would also say that this unit was advertised to include a pencil type air gauge, which wasn’t included with the shipment. Not a huge deal to me since I already own a gauge, but just saying. ... show more

A must have for all homeowners. I use this often, on my bike tires, wheelbarrow tire, pumped up an air mattress in minutes, added air to my water pump, so many things. Very easy to use. I love this product.
