This is my 2nd pair I had the 1st pair 3 years. They wore out after being used 4 x's a week for those 3 years. I will be honest I tried a different company's shoe because I loved the solid blue BUT that shoe had a "FAKE tongue" it was a simple addition of fabrice to look like a tongue that did not show in the picture nor the description of the shoe. Now, I had foot saving surgery to rebuild my right foot and I need space as in a real moveable tongue, I had to send them back because they were useless to me. I’ve been Ryka fan for long time. Got enticed to try another brand & after a month or so got knee pain. Back to Ryka ( will I ever learn?). Only reason 4 stars is they still don’t have lace ties right. But overall best shoe for me. I’ve Ben taking water aerobics 25+ years ( 15 of which instructor ).

I finally invested in these water shoes to help with foot / back pain when teaching aerobics and swim lessons on concrete surfaces. These are worth the money. Drain well are really light in the water and stay on well. They provide more support both in and out of the water and are cute to boot

I have very flat feet, so I order a half size bigger and add an insert. I walk a lot of dogs on an Island. I like that I can trek anywhere and then decide to take them for a swim. This shoe is worth the money. I have struggled with foot pain during water fitness classes for quite awhile when I looked into Ryka’s water shoe. It’s sturdy and supportive and has helped decrease my foot pain. And it looks good too. I’m really happy with this shoe.

I bought the shoes for my aquafit class. I have had several foot surgeries and wanted the extra support. They are easy to adjust tighter and have a decent amount of toe room. Burrs do get caught in the larger drainage hole on the bottom of the shoe. I am sure the right sized rock could get stuck. The burrs have not caused any problems though. Jogging across the pool, you can still slip a bit, especially the part with tile. The laces are long so I just tuck them back under the crossed laced areas.
