I have been wearing Ryka water shoes for years. I never thought to look for them on Amazon. I teach water classes from the pool deck and go in the water occasionally to cool off. These have the support of a running shoe. Don't forget to rinse the shoes after using them in the pool and remove the insoles so the shoes can dry completely. I've seen comments about the laces coming undone. I keep both laces knotted together near the end of the lace and use the toggle to make the shoe snug. Then I pass the knot under the laces near the toe end of the shoe. In addition, the price point is reasonable when compared to other vendors.

I am writing this review after using these since 2017 for exercising in the pool almost every day during the summer months here in Texas and they have just now in 2023 where the padding on bottom is starting to wear and tear off, I would say that is a long lasting pair of shoes. Now my problem is I need a new pair and this shoe is no longer available and the review on the one they now make don't have that good of a review on them and of course cost more now so I am in a quandary do I try them or not. Our pool is of course over 20 years old and the surface is pretty rough, will they last or not????

I walk 2.25 miles a day against the current in the local current channel pool in the summer. My feet were hurting so I thought I’d splurge and get these. These have great support! I don’t feel like I’m walking in cement anymore! Do yourself a favor though, and order a 1/2 size up. I already wore them a couple of times so don’t feel like I can send them back, but they are a tiny bit snug.

Wanted a water shoe for fishing that covered my whole foot to protect from sun and be able to jump into lake without worrying about having to remove my shoes. Previous had shoe that worked well but had no support and by the end of the day, my feet really hurt. We're usually fishing for about 10 hours, most of which is standing on the deck of the boat. As for fit, I ordered 7.5, but it was too short so returned and ordered 8. Fit is a little loose, but I'm able to tighten it enough with the laces so it's not an issue. We've only been out fishing once since I got these shoes, and it's been a blessing - my feet felt great at the end of the day. Will update my review once I've tested them out by jumping in the water.

I bought these for Aqua Zumba classes. I had 2 fractures on my toe & Dr approved Aqua Zumba classes. I love wearing them in the pool at gym. I rinse in shower at gym & in the warm weather I’ve been wearing them driving home.

If you are looking for supportive water shoes that won’t let rocks in, these are it! They give me all the confidence I need to walk through rocky waters and relieve pressure where my feet push on the foot pegs of my kayak with a tiny little broken bone in my foot.

These shoes are fantastic for water aerobics. Exactly what needed. I’m short so in addition to great traction they add 2 inches height. I had hoped they would be good for the beach but they were not. Sand gets into the shoes. I ended up with some nasty blisters after only one 2 mile walk. Get them for your class, leave them home for the beach.
