Very comfortable. Run small. Ordered a 7.5:but returned for an 8. My toes were right up against the toe in the 7.5. Great walking shoes and my feet don’t get too hot.

I have wide feet and need a wide toe box which is harder to find than you think. I usually get topo athletic shoes but needed a lower cost back up and im pleased at how these fit. The toe box is wide enough to be comfortable to wear and walk around for several hours. The only downside I saw so far is that the arch support is minimal and is the insert is a bit thin and you can kind of feel the bumpy sole through it. But adding your own insert could solve these issues. ... show more

I like these sneakers very much. The toe box is wide enough to accommodate my bunions without looking clunky. The foot bed is removable so I can insert my orthotics. The shoes are both comfortable and fashionable. The price is fantastic. I will keep them!

I work in retail and am on my feet all day, 5 days a week. I had this same pair of Ryka shoes in another color (also purchased via Amazon, about a year ago) and I really liked them because they are snug on my feet while also wide in the toe box area. I have occasional PF and the heel pain makes working on my feet all day so hard sometimes. These shoes helped with that a lot! My old pair had to be replaced because of a fire in ny home ruining most of my belongings. I got this black pair and it has been just barely 2 months and there’s a hole in the inside right heel, where plastic from the shoes lining constantly is digging into my skin. It’s so frustrating because these are not “cheap” shoes and I’m outside the return window. It would be great if the company could do something for me and I would happily amend this review but 2 months on a pair of $70 shoes is really unfortunate. I do not have the resources to buy new shoes this often. I have never had a pair of shoes give out on me this quickly, no matter how long I’m wearing them every day. I have a piece of double sided sticky foam wedged in the hole to soften the rubbing on my heel and make them useable until I can replace them. Not ideal. ... show more

I bought this shoes 10 months ago fitting perfectly out of the box. I wore them out since I walked at least 3 miles everyday through concrete. They fit great! I ordered another pair in same size 10.5 and they are too small. I measured them and they are 1/4 inch smaller than my old pair making them uncomfortable. Probably made in China, very disappointed. I really love the fit and comfort so, I will reorder but afraid to order 10.5 again and have the same problem. I will reorder in size 11 and hopefully, they won't be too big. Except now they are $10 more! It wouldn't allow me to exchange. I'll update my review then. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The other shoes I bought one year ago are ripping at the toes. I love the way these Rika's are made! It's stitched and leather by the toes. Real quality! OnCloud5 are not leather by the toes and are clued rather than stitched. Even though the Other brand were very comfortable, only lasted one year before ripping out at the toes. This is my first pair of Rykas. I have worn a different brand for years. I decided to try something different and am glad I did. These shoes definitely fit and feel different. I like the fact they are designed for women’s bodies and are not a crossover running shoe. I am a daily walker and wear out a pair easily within 6 months. As a senior citizen I want a good fit, and secure feeling when I step downward. I could tell my first time walking in these shoes that my leg muscles were feeling the difference in my stride.
