I bought these 1 yr ago in 8.5 W, they fit like a glove from the get go. Was the most comfortable shoe I have ever had, and did wonders for my back, legs and feet since I am on them all day. Needed a replacement and bought the same exact thing just a different color this time, but they felt 1/2 size too small, my big toes kept rubbing the end of the show. No idea why since it was the same exact model as the year before. After trying to wear them for 2 weeks, I decided that I needed to go up a 1/2 size. I ordered the 9 this time and the length was perfect, but forgot to get W when I ordered, so I am sending back and reordering for a 3rd time. I wouldn't do it if I didn't feel they were worth it. I even recommended them to a coworker who wears the same size as me and she has the same problem with the sizing. But otherwise. she loves them as much as me. ... show more

This shoe fully supports my feet and is so comfortable. My knee pain and foot pain are gone! 2nd pair of Ryka shoes - I love them!

    • Comfy Shoes Update
UPDATE: I just ordered the same shoe in my real size and it fits perfectly! These are very comfortable shoes for walking and due to some of the comments, I ordered 1/2 size larger just in case. I think if I had ordered my size they might be a tad too small, although at a 1/2 size larger they are a tad too large but it is winter and by adding a thin sock along with my thick sock it works quite nicely, Summer might be another thing but it remains to be seen. My Rykas in the past have always been true to size but the style I especially liked previously, proved to be, now in its 2nd incarnation, too small and much less cushion than the original one so I decided on trying a different design . It is unfortunate that they changed the original as it was exquisite. This was my favorite Ryka from the past :RYKA Women's Dash 2 Walking Shoe, Black/Metallic Iron Grey/Winter Blue/White, 6.5 M It is Very different now. ... show more

    • Finally...a shoe that won't end up in the trash!!!!!
I have been trying to find the perfect show for so long. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis. These shoes are wonderful. They offer more than adequate support. I like the way they fit tight to the heel. I also love the extra cushion in the heels. They have greatly decreased my foot and leg pain and I am able to walk much faster wearing them. I wore them for 14 hours and no foot pain. Just an occasional sharp pain from the tendinitis, which is alleviated quickly when I'm wearing these shoes. Love the fit and comfort of the shoes! I just wish they were more durable. These lasted just under one year and I don’t wear them every day. They are great for walking at the local shopping mall, which is a smooth surface. I also walk my dogs, on concrete. If I could find a better built sole on a shoe as comfortable as these I’d switch, but I haven’t. ... show more

This is my second pair of Ryka Devotion Plus 2. My first pair was navy/teal. My new pair is black/mint , even more beautiful than expected. These shoes are the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn. Whether I am walking on a trail, hiking , or at the local mall,there is a bounce in my step that soothes my feet . After years of searching this is indeed a shoe worth every penny. I chose to order 1/2 size up for extra room and comfort. Shoe is light and airy therefore dont wear in wet weather. The more you wear this shoe the more comfortable it is so if it feels a little snug dont give up. Wear a few days around the house to stretch them a bit. Also this was the best price out there!! I've tried Brooks, Asics, New Balance walking shoes...this is by far..feet down the best shoe for me. I have wide feet and bought a 7w...I did not have to break the shoe in at all... I will continue to buy Ryka Devotion Plus shoes

    • My favorite shoe
I work on my feet and have tried so many shoes. Many are too firm or not supportive enough. This is probably my 6th pair of this shoe they are so comfortable! (I can be walking up to 18 hours in a day and I’ve been wearing them for years). I also like the airflow in the front though be careful- if you drop something small and grainy on your feet it will get into these shoes. ... show more
