I like Ryka walking shoes best. I can’t wear any other brand as well as these. I’ve bought many pairs over the years. They are nice and cushy inside, which I appreciate as I do not like hard footbeds. Good arch support. They do not last me very long (at least for me, most of my shoes last for years). I usually wear them for about 6-8 months before replacing. Sizing is also weird. Most of my shoes are size 7.5 - 8. In these I need 8.5. They are slightly too wide, but if I go down just half a size my toes hit the front of the shoes with absolutely no wiggle room. There is such a huge difference between just a half a size. But until I find a better shoe I just buy the bigger one and tie them really tight (which makes the laces hang extra long, but oh well.) ... show more

I like the color and overall fit and style of the shoe. I was disappointed in the lack of arch support and will likely have to use an orthotic in the shoes, decreasing the space and comfort for the top of my foot. Had I not thrown the box away once I found that they fit, I would have likely returned for my tried and true ryka sky walker. The shoe is light in weight but the sole is thick and I wanted that to use for travel to Europe..There s a bit of arch padding . I love the colors. It fits when I ordered my regular size. I have wide toe area and the shoe fits perfect even with a normal width shoe. The only questionable area would be the heel seems a tiny bit big but I can also lace it up higher and there is room for my socks! I like tie shoes for my ability to get them fitted properly.. Still super early to see if they help long term. I work at a vet tech so constantly on my feet. I have started having metatarsalgia in the last year and recently after a 60 hr week now having arch and ankle pain in the same foot so I wanted to retire my shoes. Wanted to find something others have found to help and the arch support in these were impressive. Unfortunately the arch support in that foot is now hurting more than before with these but could be a healing process since they were already painful but otherwise they are very comfortable. The toe box is appropriate and I don't feel like they're being squeezed at all. I have been having to adjust the tightness of my laces to keep my heel from sliding too. I'm sure that will wear down quickly but time will tell ... show more

I wear size 8.5 wide. It is stupidly hard to find shoes that fit, are comfortable, and don’t look ridiculous. Got these yesterday, wore them all day today, and I love them. They fit perfectly and have decent support, and I actually like the colors. Very pleased!

These shoes are excellent for walking. I go on a 2.5 mile walk each day with my kids and I desperately needed new shoes specifically for walking. My legs were starting to hurt from lack of support. These are excellent. The heel is cushioned and the treading is nice and thick so it feels like you almost bounce. Will always buy this brand going forward. I wear a 7.5-8 shoe depending on the style. Anything with socks needs to be a size 8 for me. This lovely shoe has great support, but a small toe box. My short plump toes need more space. Ordering a size up would make the shoes too big. Back to my New Balance.
