The compressor clutch working flawlessly! I'm not a mechanic. I honestly wasn't sure if this would fix the problem. AC is colder than ever. It was like she came back from the dead. Just can't believe how much cheaper it is to do this yourself. I saved $600 bucks DIY!

    • Just installed....compressor doesnt work
Clutch kicks on but compressor will not operate. Every piece of the system (including relays) has been replaced over the last couple days thinking it may have been something else...it was not. Mechanic took one look and said (and I quote) "Oh you got a garbage remanufactured compressor...I can see the halfassed wiring harness from here" Then proceeded to show me. So yeah, since it has been so long since I ordered to when I found out it was garbage I assume I get no return or refund....even if I did get an exchange what am I supposed to do, let my van just sit while I wait for them to get it squared away and get my money or part. Only thing the compressor is good for right now is keeping tension on my belt...other than that its worthless, so thanks for that. If there was a way to give 0 stars and still leave a review I would. Only thing I didnt give one star was ease of install, which go fig has jack to do with the seller. So seller when you see this I hope you decide to do the right thing and send a replacement and let me send this back. ... show more

If you are looking for ways to throw your money away, then this is the best route to go... I ordered this compressor about 3 months ago and it only worked for 3 months and gave up. I contacted amazon and amazon reached out to the seller regarded my concern. Seller asked if i'd like my money back or replacement. At first i said i was okay with replacement and they sent me a replacement the following day. 1 week after installing the new replacement, it gave up again. Now me trying to save money by buying a cheap compressor cost me more than i was trying to save... ... show more

    • Clutch exploded in less then 24hrs
Installed compressor filled with r134 ac worked great. Less then 24hrs later was driving down the road no ac. Opened the hood looked down at the compressor clutch material all over the front of the pulley. clutch is engaging but cannot turn the compressor over. Will call Monday to see how this is resolved ... show more
