Compressor locked up in less than 6 months. Dryer/accumulator was replaced and system was flushed with two cans of flush. Oil was added to system so you would think it would last a few years but nope. Actually the car is not driven a whole lot and had less than 4000 miles on the compressor Bought a second one from this company and it lasted 3 days before the seal on the back of the compressor leaked all the refrigerant out. The story gets better. I bought the protection plan for it this time. Since it only lasted three days I wanted a replacement but not from the protection plan. I demanded this because it received a new condenser, dryer, two new lines, expansion valve and flushed the evaporator and the other line because of how the first one failed and scattered metal through the system. They will not send me a new one because they are “out of stock” and wouldn’t send it till they received the failed compressor which would make the car undriveable. I am out of money for refrigerant, flush, and my time to install another compressor for shotty craftsmanship which is more expensive than the compressor itself. Took it to the mechanic and said it does not work. He said they did a really good job on painting it but it does not compress air. There is no suction or output of air of any kind. A waste of my time and money.

It took about 20 minutes to install this reman ac compressor on my 2000 saturn sl1. I am a certified technician. This item arrived defective. Installed item and charged a/c system properly. The clutch would spin but there was something wrong internally with the compressor. It also make a loud buzzing noise when driving. What a waste of time I am very disappointing and strapped for time to have cold air blowing so I am not sweating on the way to work. Thanks for nothing and wasting my time. They also charge for return shipping, DO NOT BUY this item it is junk. ... show more
