Features

  • POOL SHOCK TREATMENT - Rx Clears Super Shock contains 68% calcium hypochlorite, yielding 65% available chlorine making this similar to Mega Shock, but slightly less concentrated. This shock will raise your free chlorine levels, water hardness, and pH levels giving you crystal clear water for a more enjoyable swimming experience. Due to its high percentage of chlorine, Super Shock is very effective and efficient for a quick chlorine boost.
  • MIX BEFORE YOU FIX - It is best to dilute Super Shock in a bucket of water before dispensing it around the pool which can prevent liner staining and cloudy water. Add this powder to a bucket of water before you add it to your pool. Add a 1 lbs bag per 10,000 gallons of pool water.
  • POOL SHOCK WITH ALGAECIDE - Kill the algae in your swimming pool by adding 3 bags of shock per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Rx Clear strives to provide quality products for a safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable swimming experience. When it comes to correcting your swimming pool, Rx Clear does it all giving you crystal clear water that fits your needs.
  • WORKS BEST AT NIGHT - For the best results use Super Shock at night in order to prevent the sun from eating up the shock since it is not stabilized; its best to shock when the sun isnt out for maximum performance. Do not swim for 8 to 10 hours after application.
  • POOL CHLORINE SHOCK - Maintain your swimming pool or spa with reliable pool chemicals and treatment supplies that you can depend on from Rx Clear. The Rx Clear brand is the premier choice for a trusted cleaning product to keep your pool in its best shape.

  • Mustard algae gone
Size: 12 Pack
For the first time in 25 years, the pool developed mustard algae. Used 3 bags one evening, one the following evening and it’s gone. Of course, there was the obligatory brushing, vacuuming, and filtering for 36-48 hours, but it is now perfect. I changed the filter each day, not wanting to breed more algae only to add it back into the pool. It takes time and effort, but it was worth it. Did I mention I live in Southern Arizona? The pool allows for outdoor time, and helps to lower body temperature, along with being relaxing. ... show more

  • The fastest working and most effective shock I've ever used.
Size: 24 Pack
The fastest working and most effective shock I've ever used. This product is actually cost-saving compared to other shock treatments I've used. I use two of these to get the same results I had to use four or five bags of other products.

  • Not bad
Size: 12 Pack
This product doesn’t dissolve as quickly as some other brands I’ve used, however, it does the job.

  • Bags deteriorate, and shock does not fully dissolve
Size: 12 Pack
Bought 12 bags end of last season that I did not use. Stored them in cool, dry basement for 6 months. Took them out beginning of this season, and all the plastic that the bags are made of had degraded. They were sticky like glue, stuck to each other and then to my hands. The blue and green print ink on the bag came off all over my hands and anything else they touched. Disgusting. Using latex gloves, I cut 2 bags open, poured into a 5 gal bucket of pool water, and stirred and stirred and stirred. Then left it for a few hours. Most of the shock dissolved, but there was a layer of “sludge” on the bottom of the bucket that would not dissolve. Had to hose it out. Won’t buy again. . ... show more
