I have probably assembled thousands on connectors over the years and these were easier to assemble than some of the more expensive ones. These NEMA 5-15 connectors were installed on heavy 12-3 SO cable without any issues. It was a lot of the little things with this connector that just made it work. The connectors were close enough together where you did not have to fight the wire into the holes. All the screws were on the same side so you did not need to rotate the connector. The plastic for the strain relief was strong enough where the screws did not strip out when clamping around the 12-3 SO cable. We will see how well they hold up and I might have to try some of their other models. I wish they came in Black. ... show more

Good solid threaded connections, OK to torque down on the wire clamps a bit. Strain relief clamp is solid and shaped well.

I found these to be a great value. Only drawback was the assembly of the female end was a bit challenging. Haven't done the male end yet but female end was tougher than expected. The brass connectors kept falling out. Now maybe it was me doing it wrong, so I won't be too harsh. Afterall, once assembled it is great. ... show more
