I wish all units my wife ordered were this easy to put together! Very nice table, very solid and heavy, I don't think you can really go wrong. I know some have had shipping damage but that really isn't a fault of the table, ours arrived in perfect condition and we are very happy!! Thumbs up!!

Update: The seller proactively contacted me and offered me a generous refund that did not require me to return the damaged product. Original review: The good: The desk is attractive. The desktop finish is nice, as is what appears to be a faux “live edge” treatment. The legs are sturdy and there is no crossbar to bump your legs on. Assembly was easy with each leg attached to the top with six heavy bolts and pre-installed threaded inserts (allen wrench included). The bad: It arrived damaged. The packing material is insufficient to properly protect the desktop surface with only a 0.7 inch thick layer of styrofoam covering it. Something this heavy needs more protective padding to prevent shipping damage. Mine arrived with a dime-sized divot in the top. (See photo) While I realize that I could return it, the box and packing are no longer in good enough condition. And even if I had new packaging, due to the size and weight, my 74 year old body is not up to the task. Just unpacking it by myself left me exhausted. By exchanging it for a new one I would just risk receiving another one with damage. Additionally, the returned desk would not be suitable for resale, so I can’t see the point. It’s my opinion that the desk is overpriced to start with, so it would be nice if I was offered at least a partial refund. But I see no way to contact Amazon to discuss such an arrangement. So I guess I’ll be keeping it and perhaps attempt a repair. Unless the packaging is redesigned, purchasing this expensive item will be risky. If you’re lucky you’ll get a nice desk. If you’re not… major hassle. ... show more
