I am a little round around the hips & stomach so I like a looser waist; therefore, an XL was ordered. Russell Athletics always fit true to size for me & are long lasting. I ordered these sweats for my son. I ordered 3 colors in the same size but as you can see the black pair are MUCH larger. The tags all say the same size on them and they are the same length. I will have to return the black pair but I got them for a trip so I will be a pair short now:(
