I had this catch can professionally installed by my regular automotive tech who is a Master Level technician. This was the first catch can installation for him. That being said it was not a very difficult installation but a few modifications to the bracket which attaches the can to the truck and the engine cover to make everything fit perfectly. The installation time was about an hour not including the time to find better instructions than came with the catch can. The can is very well machined and even has a dip stick for checking the level of fluids accumulated in the can so that you do not have to remove the can to tell when it needs emptying.

What can I say, they work. Put one on and you will be amazed how much they catch. I put mine on a 2016 F150 Lariat. Installation isn't hard with some basic tools and knowledge.

Work just as intended. So far has kept alot of oil out of my intake. Update after a year of use the hose that come with the kit is starting to crack. Other then that the kit is pretty solid. Would buy again but with automotive grade hoses.Being these are air hose lines.

I bought this oil catch can on July 13th, 2022. It is now October 22nd, 2022. I just changed the oil in my truck and looked to see what was captured. To my surprise there was quite a bit of oil in the can. So the product works great, there is a downside though. I noticed the supply and exhaust lines were weathered and collapsing upon themselves. So those will need to be changed. Overall, you get what you pay for. The can, mount and hardware far exceeds its price range but the hoses do not. For $50 the can is worth it, but it's hard to justify anymore than that.

Look here's the deal. Yes the hoses are trash and need to be replaced before installing. That's a simple 9 dollar fix from Autozone. Yes some people have lost the bottom of their can as it rattled off the bottom of the mount while driving. A simple fix for that is to check your can and oil daily like a grown up should do anyway. Lastly, outside those two issues that you're going to have regardless of who you purchase this from since they are all made in China by the same company anyway is the hose clamps. Replace those as well and this can is all you will ever need. It does an amazing job of separating the oil and water in your 5.0. Quality is top notch and this product does what it's supposed to do as long as you are not an idiot to begin with. No regrets, I intend to put one on all my vehicles moving forward
