For context, I originally purchased the Shoes For Crews Energy II shoes, because they were supposed to be comparable to Sketcher Shape Ups, and my work involves a lot of moving and walking on concrete floors. Unfortunately, those shoes were terrible, and I was terribly disappointed because they were so expensive and just felt awful to wear. After looking around, I decided on these, because I did not want to spend a lot of money on another platform style shoe and be disappointed again. The reason for the 4 stars is because the sizing on these are really weird. I normally wear an 8, and originally purchased an 8, but they were way too tight. So, I returned them and ordered an 8.5, and they're a little too big, almost feel like a 9 and not 8.5. However, I just wear thick socks with these and keep them laced tightly. Also, these are not water resistant at all, as I learned as I was rushing to my car in a downpour. However, I have to say, these are actually pretty comfortable shoes to wear, which is just what I'm looking for. Working on a concrete floor all day causes my feet to ache, but thanks to these shoes, but my feet no longer hurt after even a 12 hour shift. If you're looking for a comfortable shoe to work in, and one that is affordable, I would definitely recommend these. I read the reviews before ordering these sneakers and most reviews said that they ran large. I'm a sz 6, so I ordered a 5½ and a 6. however they run at least a 1/2 a size small if not a full size small... so I really should hav ordered a 6½. I'm not sure what everybody was trying on but they definitely weren't these sneakers, bc they definitely do NOT run big at all. the toe box is very roomy but short. i can feel the tip of my toenail touching. (& I keep short nails). Very disappointing. Otherwise, they could possibly be ok. Price was good for what it is. The sole is a little plastic-y.. prob scratches easily. And def not something I'd consider for 'traction' purposes. Just a cute black sneaker. Do not order these if u work in a restaurant.. You'll be sliding all over the greasy kitchen floor. ... show more

I have a real difficult time finding shoes that fit right and are comfortable long-term. These were by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned, the price point is great also. The only downside about them is that they are in no way waterproof, the smallest spill on the top of your shoe will go right through the material so no walking in the rain with these guys :) Pros: -Comfortable -Breathable -Durable sole Cons: -Not Waterproof -Little support for ankles (only applies if walking on uneven terrain- not pavement) Note: Lasted me about 6months total with everyday use, I average about 10K steps a day to give you guys a reference on how long these will last, for the price they offer i think it's worth it and you could probably get more life out of them by swapping the soles out. I'm deciding to buy another pair because I definitely put a lot of miles on these...literally. :) ... show more

I absolutely love the shoes!! Didn’t think they would be this good for what they sell for but they are. They do have grip!! I love that I can walk tall I feel that Little Rock of the shoe in that back helps tighten my legs and booty!! I wore the sketchers shape up shoes for as long as they existed so I can feel the resemblance!! I wear a size 9 in women but I read reviews saying to size down 1/2 size so I got the size 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly! My feet feel good!!
