    • Mounting hardware is TRASH
The rubber "well nuts" that mount the bracket are complete and utter garbage. Complete failure. The rubber disintegrates on install and if it did work I wouldn't trust them to hold. Very disappointed. Now the Jeep's footman loop's rivets are drilled out and I have to figure something out to fix that. If you like problems, buy this. Rugged Ridge, you really fumbled on this one.     • Good Bracket. Installation misleading.
Product Description: “No drilling or modifications required.” Directions Step 1: Drill out rivets securing foreman loop with 3/8 inch drill bit. This required more effort than was indicated. Once the 3/8 inch holes are drilled just mount the bracket and foreman loop. The step saying to use the long screw to seat the rubber anchor accomplishes nothing. Once installed it seems like a good unit. I have yet to mount the CB to it yet. ... show more

Easy to install. Works good in a TJ but wish it was more rigid. Haven’t bent but it’s wobbly with a heavy radio.

    • Ok for the price, but....
You get what you pay for. The bracket fit nice, the rubber insert nuts are a little cheap, the CB bounces around when driving down a paved road. Off road Is worse. My CB is only 3.6 pounds.

Mount works good with small CB's. I used self tapping screws to mount mine to the side of where the direction say to put it.
