After reading reviews and Q&As this comforter was exactly what I expected. The fabric is soft and of good quality. The whole comforter is fairly thin but warmer than its thickness would indicate as most down alternative comforters are. Colors are Navy blue, Olive green, and Chocolate. We paired it with Navy Curtains and a Chocolate bed skirt and it looks quite Nice. The Queen fit our standard 10” thick Queen mattress well, however, if you have a thick pillow top mattress or don’t want to use a bed skirt you might want to order a size larger. I don't normally leave reviews but I love this so much I wanted to help others find that "right" comforter. This was for my son's room. And he doesn't like anything heavy so I needed to find something lightweight that was more than just a blanket. This is not thick like you would expect from a normal comforter. It's probably like 2 inches thick so thicker than a quilt but it looks like a normal comforter. It is so super lightweight and it's amazingly soft. Like 100% cotton T-shirt soft. So if you or your kid don't like anything heavy but want the look of more than just a blanket definitely buy this. My only complaint is that the reverse looks more black than navy and I would have preferred navy. ... show more

I took quite awhile to decide to order this because other reviews said it was too small for a king size bed. I finally took the plunge and I couldn't be happier! We have a 12 inch mattress (I think, it may be 14) and this comforter covers the mattress completely. It doesn't cover the box spring but none of my king comforters do so I think this is a pretty standard size. Anyway, it's so soft and the perfect weight! I didn't want a heavy, hot comforter or one that wouldn't be warm enough. This one is right in the middle and with a light blanket underneath it it's the perfect warmth for our winter nights. It also fits in a normal size washing machine which is a huge perk for me. I washed it and dried it and it looks just as good as it did when I took it out the package but now it's even softer. I received a comforter that was poorly stitched on the outside. It was very crooked and ran straight down the middle of the bedding and took away from the appearance. (See photo). For the price, I expect better quality control. I ordered a second one, which was much better. This item is definitely overpriced but it’s for a guest room so I’m hoping it lasts a long time. You will not be dissatisfied with this amazing comforter. I purchased it for my son who snowmobiles and plows and likes to come home and crawl under the blanket. He said he's never had a warmer or softer comforter. He leaves the bed to go elsewhere in the house, for a few minutes and comes back to warm sheets because the comforter kept the heat in. Cozy material. Nothing cheap. Beautiful presentation. I recommend adding a separate layer beneath for cold Winters. DISCLOSURE - I am yet to see how this thing handles the wash. I have a dog, and I keep my old, even lighter weight comforter over this bed spread when he sleeps w me.
