We have a BMW X5. We liked the look of these and thought they might be a nice addition. Unfortunately, not so much. I honestly can't say how these would work in a different make / model, but they just don't work well in our car. First, these gap fillers are a bit small in length. They cover only about half of the distance between the from of the seat pan and the area where it meets the seatback. We liked the look of the material they're made from, but the problem is that they are slippery and won't stay in place - especially since our seats automatically adjust when we enter the vehicle, which constantly moves the seat back and forth. The cupholder is quite small - almost tiny. I would never trust it to hold a drink in place. Do that, and you'll have a mess before you can say Bob's your uncle. I do like the fact that they have a hole in the bottom to fit your charging cable thru. They can hold a phone and a pen, cards, and maybe a couple of other small items. I personally do not like the fact that these gap fillers stick up so far above the seat. I found myself constantly bumping them. This organizers are nicely finished on the outside and feel sturdy they have no rough or sharp edges that could otherwise cause damage to your seats or console. On the inside they have a PU lined bottom and the inside wall is hard plastic. Overall, I'd get something else for our vehicle. But I don't mean that as a harsh criticism - they may work better in someone else's vehicle.

REVIEW FOR: Rufuex 2-pack car seat gap filler organizer with cup holder PRICE WHEN ORDERED: $22 INCLUDED WITH ORDER: 2 car seat gap caddies MY REVIEW STANDARD: Excellent (5 star), Good/Very Good (4 star), Average (3 star), Below Average (2 star), Avoid (1 star) VERDICT: Very Good These are very solid, sturdy, and sleek looking car seat gap caddies. The form factor is solid plastic encased in faux leather, so it doesn’t collapse or give at all when pressing against it. That can be a pro or con depending on your perspective, needs, and body size. If you are already cramped for leg/thigh room on your front seats, these may not be a good option for you since they take up 3.1 inches of real estate. If you have a big seat gap though, that may not matter. I don’t, so these protrude onto the seats of my Honda Accord. I got this primarily for the added cup holder feature since it seems that my car’s cup holders are often claimed pretty quickly or filled with stuff. The main compartment has sturdy separator walls for keeping a phone or other narrow objects in place and upright. These have a nice port hole at the bottom that is just big enough for the end of a USB-A plug to pass through, making it easy to feed charging cables up through the hole coming from the center console. That allows you to keep those cables somewhat hidden/out of sight underneath the caddy itself.

This Car Seat Gap Filler did not fit my Toyota 2019 RAV4 Hybrid straight out of the box. The gap filler insert on the bottom goes 3 inches deep but is only 1/2 inch wide. This meant that when I first slid it between the seat and console in my car, it wobbled around and would slid out easily. I am upgrading from a gap filler only insert so I was able to put the old gap filler in first and then slide the new gap filler organizer in between the old gap filler and the console. This was a really tight fit but I was able to do it. So the organizers in my car do not have any slip or give at all. If the gap between your seat and console is over 1/2 inch, then you will have this issue and additional padding will be needed to make it work. The organizer itself is very solid and has no give. As you can see, there is no gap between my leg and the organizer and it does not compress or move. If it was any bigger or your leg is already up against the console, it might be a problem. This is a solid, good sized organizer. As long as your seat gap is small or you are able to supply your own padding solution, this would be a good Car Seat Gap Filler Organizer for you.

I returned these !! They took up too much seat space! If the round part was to be used for a cup … it’s too small and not secure… tip over

The idea of these gap fillers is great. These just don’t work well with my car. If I had a longer console in the middle of my car, these would work better. They are a sturdy material and seem like they will stand up to being used for a long time. They butt up against my leg. And I had to pull it forward so I could buckle up my seatbelt. If you turn it the other way, it covers up my cup holder that is already there. See the picture . So that defeats the main purpose that I got these. The cup holder is tiny. Maybe it will hold a baby bottle? I’m not sure if it will hold a can of soda. I’m going to give these gap fillers a try. They will hold your phone. And you can put your keys in the cup holder area. There is a hole in it where you can run a USB cable, but even that might be awkward. Measure your console, and if you think that these will work for you, then I would give them a try. They do work for me, just not as well as I thought they would. This is a good value for getting two in the package. So there are plus and minus’s in using these gap filler/cup holders.
