Great costume! I was pleasantly surprised, I'm always worried ordering any kind of clothing online because a lot of times they aren't anything like the ad says, but that was not the case here. This is a good quality costume for a fantastic price. The rawr noise that it makes when you press the belly is a little more like a screeching but my 3 year old still loves it. My son is about 38 inches tall and pretty skinny, we ended up ordering the "small" because that was the only option Amazon gave, so I expected it to be giant on him, but nope not at all, it's the perfect size to be able to put clothes under it. Glad it worked out, I was going to order the xs/toddler if it was an option, so I'm glad it wasn't. So clearly these run a little small, I recommend ordering one size bigger than you think you need according to their chart. Overall a fantastic costume!! Great quality. Way better than I expected! 100% recommend! (Going to try to upload some pictures of it, hopefully it works) ... show more

I was a little confused by the sizing as well before buying.. The toddler size is size 2t-4t intended for 1-2 year olds. I purchased this costume in toddler size for my 2.5 year old who is 30 lbs and 36" tall. It fits him perfectly with just a little extra room. This is a great dinosaur costume and my toddler, who's only 18 months of age, loves it! He loves wearing it and it fits him perfectly (my toddler is tall for his age) - bought the 1-2 year size. Other reviewers mentioned the dinosaur head/hood falling forward over their child's face. That does happen but can be rectified with a piece of velcro sewn to the hood and the body - no problem! I like how the dino feet lay on top of the shoes and have a velcro strap to wrap around the toe box of the shoe. No messy feet to worry about! My son has been wearing this home everyday for 5 days straight (ever since we’ve received it). He doesn’t usually like wearing head pieces come with other costumes, but he doesn’t mind to wear this one at all. Sometimes I want to take it off for him cause it’s kinda too warm for the weather here. He would insist putting it back. I ordered a small and they sent me a toddler size, so I reordered. But here is a comparison of the two on the same kiddo. My 3 year old is 41" tall and about 40 lbs. His height puts him in 3T but he's skinny enough to fit 2T if it's long. The small fits much better though I do like the fit of the head on the toddler better. I agree with other reviews that say don't get it just for the sound button because it's obviously just a repurposed elephant sound and nothing like a dino roar. But my kid absolutely loves that feature which is what matters I guess. He's excited to wear it and it was a cheap option so I approve! ... show more

My son LOVES this costume. He is so excited for Halloween now. It fits pretty baggy, but will be perfect to put a coat and warm pants underneath. The only thing I'm not in love with is the elastic that holds the feet on - one of the velcros already came off, but it's minor and I actually prefer the velcro so it'll come off easily when my son is ready to take it off. My 2 year old is obsessed with anything dinosaur. He wore this for Halloween and has continued to wear it on multiple occasions just cause he wants to. The little roar button is neat.
