This costume is not just a one night use. Once we received it in the mail, my two year old began playing with it right away. Sizing- My daughter wears a 3T / 4T, we bought the size 6 and I would not want it any smaller. Fit her great and she has a little bit growing room. The way the costume is designed, it is okay if it is a little big. When I ordered the 6, I was so worried it would be too big, but surprisingly it was perfect. One problem (but a small one)- My daughter was able to pull the felt "SD" dog tag off of the collar. I knew when I put it on her the first time, she would probably pull on it enough that I would have to reattach it eventually. Well the felt stretched quite a bit before it separated at the collar and disconnected completely. I had some thin yellow grosgrain hair ribbon and I made a new loop with it and attached it back onto the collar.(I have poor sewing skills, this was done with needle and thread, easy and fast) This way it won't come off again. Couldn't tell I had made the repair/ upgrade and my girl could has been dressing up as Scooby Doo since, with no problem. I don't fault the costume for this small issue. Kids are destructive, especially 2 year olds. My poor leather couch has suffered damage, but I don't fault the couch maker. Kids will be kids. This problem is easy to fix! Leather couch, not as fortunate. The other costumes I've seen were of much lower quality and left a lot to be desired. This one is worth springing the extra dollars on, especially if you think your little one will use it more than just Halloween night. Honestly I think my daughter could be Scooby next Halloween if she wanted. Very satisfied overall with this purchase!

I bought this for my 4 year old Scooby fanatic as her Halloween costume this year and she loved it so much that she continues to wear it around the house. The costume is made of very soft material and is high quality, especially considering how cheaply made most of the costumes on the market are these days. I was amazed at how nice it really is. The hood features Scooby's face on the top and Scooby's collar has velcro on the back and once closed, it secures the hood onto your child's head. The feet of the costume are open on the bottom with elastic straps to fit around the child's shoes so the feet won't get all scuffed up as he/she is trick or treating. I bought the medium size based on other people's reviews that it is cut small. My daughter is about 42" tall and according to the sizing chart in the item photo, a small should've fit her, but I purchased the medium just in case (intended for heights between 50-54" tall) and was so happy I did. It was a little big on her and some of the fabric bunched a little above the feet, but it's better to be a bit big than too small. Even though it was a little big, it didn't drag on the ground at all and it kept her warm while trick or treating on a chilly night. We love this costume and highly recommend it, just go up one size from what it says would fit your child.

Overall it's cute, costume only material. Definitely not pajama. Alot of people complained about the head/zipper/closure part and I 100% agree it needs fixing. As a tip for other buyers, what I did and turned this costume to perfection on my toddler was to cut a tiny hole near the collar where the stretch band begins and cut stretch band with tiny scissors. Also I had to sew the back of the costume, tucking in material because head was too forward, covering his forehead. Last, I had to open the bottom of scoobys head and take stuffing out so it would wobble and tilt so much. Sewed it back up and made it much comfortable for my son. Hope this helps!

When you order something, you expect it to look like the picture, right? Yeah.. not what I got. I got the wish version of Scooby-Doo. His eyes looked like they were put in sideways and his color was actually green and not teal. It also ran small which didn’t help for my toddler. Sadly I did not have enough time to return it so my daughter wore it anyways.

Son used this for a school book project and then again for Halloween. The only thing I would change is the strap for the feet. The elastic wasn’t long enough which caused the feet of Scooby to get bunched up inside my sons shoes. He ended up wearing the elastic strap on the underside of his shoes which got dirty. No big deal.

Didn't have high hopes for it, but it was nice quality. My kid loved wearing it. Continues to wear it for play. One minor hang up is the velcro attachment on the collar was kinda snug and produced a small scratch, rash under the chin. So we left it unattached. Overall a great little costume.

My son, who loves Scooby-Doo, wanted to Scooby for this year's Halloween, so I thought this costume might just do the trick. Could not find at a local retailer but Amazon had it in stock. Ordered from Amazon Saturday afternoon and the package was on my doorstep Monday, and this was through Amazon's two-day Prime service. Gotta love Amazon Prime!! Make sure you order at least one size up as this costume runs SMALL!! Pro's * Good value for the money * Son was totally thrilled by the look of the costume!! * Can be worn over clothing, so it will be warm if Haloween happens to be chilly Con's * ORDER LARGER SIZE THAN NEEDED!! - The size may say Medium (8-10) but it actually (barely) fits a toddler who wears size 5. I could have actually moved up to a larger size from medium with no problems but this was the largest size made. * The Scooby nametag is pretty flimsy and may not last too long. Overall, happy with purchase and if your child likes Scooby-Doo like mine, they will absolutely love this costume!! All you have to do is feed them Scooby snacks all day and figure a way to get them out of the costume!!
