This worked out great for my daughter! She’s 55” tall and a pretty solid kid. At 8yrs old she’s already wearing a 14/16 because she doesn’t like things to be tight. The L says it’s a 12/14 so I was worried it was going to be a bit small, but it was perfect with some growing room as well. I'm 5'0" and about 125 lbs, the large actually fits well! The legs/butt are a little snug and the arms are a little long, but overall for $16, SO worth it! As compared to the $40+ adult suits, this fits very well. I honestly think it would fit anyone under 5'5"ish and on the thin side, if you're looking for a cheaper alternative that you don't mind it being for kids. It looks sheer when you hold it up, but when you put it on (I tried it on over a tank top and bicycle shorts), it looks great and opaque. I bought it very early as a possibility for Comic Con, and I'm strongly considering using it! We'll see how it holds up then. I bought a medium for my almost 7 year old who is very tall and slender (4'4", 53 lbs.) It's baggy on her but I think if I had sized down to a small it would have been too short for her and pinched in the crotch. We can easily pin it with safety pins in the places where it's too baggy and just let those out when she gets bigger. The mask/headpiece is a little bit on the small side and she has a hard time keeping it over her eyes. But let's be honest, not many kids actually wear their halloween masks for more than 10 minutes before handing them off to mom and dad or stuffing them in their trick or treat bucket. Our daughter was disappointed. She loves Captain Marvel and knows her Avengers well; this costume felt flimsy and sort of lame to her. Particularly in comparison to her brother's Captain America costume, which is made of sturdier material and has built in muscles. She noted the difference between the two and was disappointed and took away the message (again) that girls aren't as strong as boys. Why can't they make the girls' costumes of more substantial material, too? She wanted the toughness that Captain Marvel's costume clearly has in the movies -- almost shield-like. Primero si debo dejar claro que hay un tema con las tallas, es mucho mas grande de lo que indican las medidas, por lo que si vas a comprar toma en cuenta bien las tallas y comprale algo mas pequeño de lo usual, la calidad del traje es regular, no voy a decir que es mala, pero la capucha o casco como se quiera llamar no es nada parecido al de la imagen, por ser de tela, no cumple su funcion, terminas por no usarlo. I was worried about buying a costume online but this was new and good quality. Size chart was accurate; I got a medium for my 7 year old girl and it’s perfect. The mask is a little loose fitting but I don’t think she’ll wear it for trick-or-treating anyway. And a hot glue fix or pinning/tying it would be an easy fix. ... show more

This is disappointing even for a Halloween costume. The mask is ridiculous, the eyes are so close together it looks like it’s supposed to be the funny deformed off brand version of captain Marvell.
