All pieces have a soft backing that doesn't irritate the skin, BUT... The SMELL is alarming! It smells like a mix of plastic, paint, and some other kind of acrid chemical. It makes me concerned to wear it, especially on my head (the tiara). I don't know what the chemical smell is, but even after letting them air out for two days, the smell was still strong.

After reading the reviews I was ready for: a smelly product, and a variety of sizes for the different accessories which would require extra work for fitting. I was ok with it as I still thought it was a good bargain. As it turned out, I didn't need any of these. The items were not smelly, and the size just fits for almost everything. The tiara and gauntlets fit perfectly, the arm band is a bit tight yet good to go, and the gloves were the weirdest part as it took me some time to realize how to wear them, and they are a bit wide and funny, but I got used to it in a few minutes. Not sure if they suppose to be like that, or tighter, but the way they are is good enough for me, even though they look nothing like the photo. I do think that the arm band and gauntlets may not fit thicker arms though. Looks like it was really made for women in the dimensions of the woman modeling the product... Another thing that might be of a little disappointment to some, is that the coloring of the tiara and the arm band is a bit off from the original (as it shows in the item's photos, so it's not deceiving). I do plan on getting a silver color and paint it a little more accurate by adding a silver line to both the band and the tiara. *** UPDATE *** I just got a metallic silver oil paint and re-did the coloring. Looks a lot better in my opinion.Photos attached before and after. Other than that- I'm very pleased with the product! It does the job. Also feels like it was made to last, and not something that falls apart during the first use (I'll put that under a test soon). It's a great accessories set to go with any wonder woman outfit you may choose.

I will start by saying that yes, the PVC smell on these accessories is incredibly strong. I set my pieces out for three days and was able to let the worst of the smell dissipate, but I would recommend a few days more for sensitive noses. As a small person, everything is a touch too large. (I don't know why the description says "fits most children" as these are definitely adult-sized). The gauntlets fit quite snugly but the arm band and tiara need to have the elastic taken in a quarter inch before I can wear them. The "gloves" are far too large and cannot be easily resized without being completely taken apart, cut down, and sewn together again, so I probably won't bother. That being said, the pieces look quite good, not much different from the stock image. They are made from a soft vinyl that can easily be shaped and are all backed by a soft fabric. This makes them comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Verdict: If you need some Wonder Woman accessories and have some time before you must wear them, and have a little sewing know-how if they need to be resized, this is a good product to get for the price they are offered. If you are looking for something with a better fit or need to wear right away, I would look at another option

Stinky! I have bought plenty of smelly fabrics and plastics but these things win on stinky fume smells. I put them in the back room to air out, opened up the door after less than a day and they smelled up the whole storage space, so they are living outside for the foreseeable future. Pros, these look great. The headpiece has a stretch piece in the back and it fits comfortably on the head. It's a soft plastic so it fits very comfortably. Same with the arm band. Even though these are made of soft plastic, I think the paint job and details look great. Sizes: Head and arm bands are spot on. If you have thin arms the gauntlets might have a little extra room but work just fine. The gloves will fit small hands only. I was unable to fit the gloves onto my hands, and unlike the other pieces, there is no straps for adjustments or taking them on and off.

I used these pieces to make an interpretation of Wonder Woman for an outdoor summer music festival that I went to with a bunch of girlfriends. I loved the headband and the upper arm piece. I like how the smaller brown hand wraps looked, but I had to use athletic tape to make them even remotely fit (they were huge and just kind of weird) but I didn't mind because they were fun to wear and pretty comfortable. For me, the arm bracers weren't comfy, but they would probably be fine in cooler weather or indoors (again, we were at an outdoor music festival in July). I thought this purchase was worth it and had a blast wearing this outfit (Bonus: everyone immediately knew I was going for Wonder Woman, I think because the headband was so good!).

A great addition to my Halloween costume.. they made it through the entire night without issue. I did have some issues with sizing though.. I tend to have average male sized arms and hands.. my biceps are by no means impressive, but the armband did, eventually (on a separate occassion) need a new elastic strap. The headband fit perfectly and stayed on the whole night.. the bracelets were HUGE though, I actually had to cut them down to avoid flaps.. but the Velcro was strong and they held on for the entire night. The hand wraps..on the other hand, were completely useless.. not sure if all these pieces were designed using a consistent model, but I could even get four fingers into those things. But.. for me, the price and quality were great.. and the headband, armband, and bracelets were perfect additions to my costume
