We just received our order for this costume, and my son loves it. Very cute, with a wonderful hat and ears, and a backpack. But please note: for my 4 year old we ordered the size Small 4 - 6 and it fit perfectly....the size 4 to 6 is actually mean for ages 3 and 4 (that's what it says on the package and it's confusing I know). I had previously this costume in a 2 to 4, but the package then said it was meant for a 1 or 2 year old. Given that the size 4 to 6 barely fits our 4 year old, I really doubt the size 2 to 4 would have fit him. So if you have a regularly sized 4 year old, you might need to find a size 4 to 6, NOT a size 2 to 4 . The sizing info for this costume is VERY confusing since it doesn't seem to directly correspond to the child's age. So I hope this explanation helped! ... show more

I bought a Small costume for my 3 year old who was 39 inches 5 months ago and is probably at least 41 inches now. The description said age 3-4, but Small is actually 4-6. Definitely way too big on him, but he loves it and I rolled up the legs and arms. Not sure if the smaller size would have fit him anyway since it goes to 39 inches and this one starts at 44 inches. So darling, but I just wish he didn't fall right in between sizes. ... show more

I followed everyones review on sizing. Seemed they were saying a small fit 3-4 year olds. And when I clicked on toddler it said 1-2. My options were toddler (1-2), small, or medium. DO NOT GET SMALL FOR 3-4. I guess if you are looking for that age you are SOL. Small is for 5 to 6. Way too big for my 3 year old. Medium for 6 to 7. Toddler... I don't know what it fits. I can't send it back now since my son tried it on and won't take it off. I am going to hem it. ... show more

I ordered size 3T/4T. Costumes are completely ADORABLE. They look great but let me give you some specifics. The material is very thin. Very thin felt. The badges are made out if foam so it can easily be ripped off. The costume does come with a tail, hat and very thin backpack. The backpack straps are velcro at the bottom. Again, very thin material so you’ll have to put some newspapers or something for the backpack to puff up. My boys love it though. I ordered the 3t/4t and it was too short for them. Great costume for my son! He is 37" tall and weighs about 28lbs. I got the toddler size and it fit him perfectly. He tried it on and didn't take it off for about 2 hours! Very durable and warm! Not cheaply made either! I bought this for my 3 year old (June bday) and with 2 other kids in my lifetime I've learned you always size up so I bought the 4-6 size and it was a bit big but nothing rolling up the legs and arms couldn't fix! Now he can wear it for much longer and grow into it because he loves his paw patrol. Wished i'd got the toddler size because it probably would have been a perfect fit but not disappointed! Looks really cute on and my daughter loves it. The backpack is a nice addition. It's pretty cheaply made, as most run-of-the-mill Halloween costumes are. There was a hole where the collar meets the shoulder, but you can't see it. I had to add an elastic strap to the hat to keep it from sliding off. The bottom of the back pack straps are attached with velcro, so if you put any weight in the backpack, the velcro will disengage and the backpack falls off. I plan on sewing the straps to the bag instead. The material of the vest is a satin polyester and the legs and arms are almost like a cheap fleece. A bit hot for my climate. I bought a toddler size. My daughter is 3 1/2, 30 pounds, 37.5 inches tall, long torso and short legs. It just fits, with slight high-water at the legs. If she had to wear warm clothes under it, it wouldn't work. Small probably would have been better. UPDATE Washing this costume will greatly fade the black spots. After turning it inside out and washing it once, the black spots have faded to half of their contrast. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love it! It’s so cute. I bought the toddler size for my 1 year old who wears a 2t-3t and it fits just perfect with enough room to wear clothes underneath. As far as thickness it’s pretty thin. Also the back pack is so cute and can be used as a trick or treat bag for a small amount of candy, if it gets too heavy it may be unable to ware due to the Velcro not sticking. ... show more
