I bought this not knowing what to expect. I had read both positive and negative reviews on it. When it came in, my daughter and her friend tried it on. They had so much fun in them. I had ordered 4 of them, but one did not come with the fan, so they used the other three. We bought it for a party and there were at least 12 people who wore the outfits. One outfit did tear a little around the collar, but they were being put on and taken off all day. These self inflating costumes were a hit!!! They ran in them, fell in them, tried to kick around a ball in them, etc... The tallest person who wore one was a little over 6 foot and approximately 180 lbs. The smallest person who wore the same costume was approx 5'4" and approx 110 lbs. The same costume fit both comfortably. I would recommend these costumes!! I gave this product a 4 because one didn't come with the fan to inflate it. Despite the fact that the costumes look like the plastic is thin, it held up well considering all the activity the kids did in them.

Used this thing at 2 parties already. Not as sturdy as the ones in the office show, like you can’t bounce off of each other or things, or actually sumo wrestle, but you can certainly twerk and do the sprinkler in these bad boys and gain some best friends fast. If you do twerk do it to sisqo's “thong song”. Seriously. They can’t get enough. Now that I’ve taught you some life lessons press “add to cart” and start having some fun in your life. Like seriously. No one ever said, “man that dude is so happy, I just hate him.” So go now, go be happy. Shoot buy 5 of these and have a sumo dancing party with friends. Man I love these things. “Let me see that thoooooooong”

Being 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 225 pounds, I'm leery of the one-size-fits-all costume, but I took a chance with this one. Boy, am I glad I did! This was a phenomenal costume. Not only did it fit just fine, it inflated and held itself with fresh batteries for 90 plus minutes of continuous running. (Think of this costume like a bounce house, with a fan constantly pumping in air to inflate it.) And I got a ton of laughs: it was a huge visual gag. As I limboed and cavorted at our Halloween costume party, I realized that in this costume I finally had a physique that matched my dance skills. I'm looking forward to other ways I can wear this thing. My only caveat is to recommend buying a different "hair piece" (which I did) rather than wear the one included. It's more like a nylon cap with a bun on top held in place with a chin strap. Okay I guess, but I think it would have detracted from the overall look. I highly recommend this costume.

I'm 5'10", a muscular 220 and fit in the suit easily. I wore sweats underneath to put the power for the fan in my pocket and was very happy. I was dancing in the fat suit and ended up working up a good sweat. Even in the outside October air, I was very warm. The suit is durable and was a hit. The provided 'wig' looks pretty lame and wasn't worth wearing, but the suit more than made up for it.

I ordered 2. The fan did not work for 1 and the other battery pack got extremely hot even when the fan was shut off. We had to take it outside for fear of it catching on fire. This was a big disappointment.

Inflates perfectly, super lightweight too even with the pump. Although I wish it wasn't. Bought this for our Fantasy Football league member who has to run a 5K through Golden Gate Park with this one. Wish it'd be more uncomfortable for him.

I bought a similar costume off of amazon for Halloween last year and it was complete s**t. the material was horrible, the fan that came with it was broken and I never actually got to use it. When I tried this costume on, it looked so much better. the material isn't that bad, people are just overreacting about that. my only downsides to this costume are the size, but that's because I am 5'5" and weigh roughly 110lbs, and how noisy the fan is, but I can figure out how to make a cover or something to muffle the sound. overall I was happy with this product
