This is a great costume and so much fun! I bought it for my 17 year old son and it was a hit among his friends, everyone loved it! Definitely recommend it. It does not come with batteries so order some too if you don't have any.

I bought this costume to wear to a Halloween party. I havent worn it to the party yet but I can say like everyone else, this costume is great quality, one size fits most and its just hilarious. You need 4 batteries to power the fan. In like 2 minutes, you're fully inflated. I just walked around the house and didnt get warm but I know the day off the party, I'll probably sweat alot. Since it is "skin color", the black shirt and leggings I was wearing under were peaking through the plastic. I wouldnt go commando in this, but wear maybe you skins' color shorts and a t shirt. ... show more

Great great costume. Totally easy to set up and it was the highlight of the night. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are all about here. Yeah, it's made of thin plastic and has a cheap feel but it has to be thin to stay inflated and stay inflated it did. After a night of dancing and acting like an idiot, nothing broke and the fan worked all night. An absolutely hysterical costume. Highly recommended. ... show more

I bought this not knowing what to expect. I had read both positive and negative reviews on it. When it came in, my daughter and her friend tried it on. They had so much fun in them. I had ordered 4 of them, but one did not come with the fan, so they used the other three. We bought it for a party and there were at least 12 people who wore the outfits. One outfit did tear a little around the collar, but they were being put on and taken off all day. These self inflating costumes were a hit!!! They ran in them, fell in them, tried to kick around a ball in them, etc... The tallest person who wore one was a little over 6 foot and approximately 180 lbs. The smallest person who wore the same costume was approx 5'4" and approx 110 lbs. The same costume fit both comfortably. I would recommend these costumes!! I gave this product a 4 because one didn't come with the fan to inflate it. Despite the fact that the costumes look like the plastic is thin, it held up well considering all the activity the kids did in them. ... show more

This was an outstanding costume. I ordered it for my 11 year old son, the fit was fine since it has elastic on leg and arms all we had to do was push them up. His cousin dressed in the same costume it was sooo comical! The fan worked all night without having to replace the batteries. It was a great costume and awesome price! ... show more

My husband was the lucky one who got to wear this sumo suit. He is 6'2" and it fit him with room to spare! We used two sets of batteries over the 2+ hours he wore it. Worked great. Kids loved it. Adults loved it. In fact it helped our trunk (Japan themed) win our church trunk or treat competition! The only thing my husband said was it was a little warm. Even with the fan there isn't much ventilation. But we were outside the whole time so it didn't bother him too much. We would highly recommend this for a good time! ... show more

    • Good for price, but not to wear for long period of time
It's fun to wear for about 25 minutes. It looks great, but has to be constantly inflated. I bought another sumo suit years ago which was more of a pillow/cushion suit - and that was perfect. For 30 USD, it's not half-bad, but not the most practical for a long night in costume
